420 Scope or Magnafying Glass?

Hey guys does anybody know where to get a 420 scope? for viewing the flowers at like 100 times magnafication or do ya think a Magnafying Glass works just as good?

I picked up a 30x hand held microscope from a teachers/school store for $10. Works really well (30x is all you really need) but deff not as cool as 100x im sure.

i got mine from ebay. like 6 bucks but i find its difficult to focus on the plant since you have to hold the bud down and put the scope right ontop of it to view anything, im thinking maybe i should have gone with a jewelers loupe

Price of that scope just jumped up to $12.09. still the best scope for the money. Here is the link to by it on line.

Jolly, Just snip off one of the leafs that are up on the buds. Look at those trichs, so you can place the leaf on a table top. Every increase in magnification also increases any movement. Makes it almost inpossible to look at trichs on the buds. But with practice you can do it. I would rather just check out the small leafs that are coming out of the buds.

420 Scope

Thanks guys Good Tips. So if i use the 420 scope i can see when the trichomes are ready are changed to an amber color then i know their ready to harvest! Sweet deal.

you can buy a 60x-100x microscope at radio shack for 12 bucks that is identical to the 420 scope.

it is the same cept the 420 scope has a led. who cares not worth 3x as much. they both suck though imo i went and got the radio shack one and returned it the same day.

The 420 scope is a marketing ploy. 420 string to hold plants is next,420 soap to wash your hands or some shit will be next as well.

The radio shack scope is good,the best.

That 420 scope and the radio shack scopes are the same dam ones. except the 420 scopes says 420 on it.. the radio shack scope also has a bright LED light. And for the guy who thinks that the radio shack microscope is not worth the money, because he thinks it sucks. Hmmm I think it must have been a case or operator error. Everyone I know that has been growing for any length of time has one.

Haha thats interesting...the 420 scope looks to be EXACTLY almost the same scope that they sell at radioshack for 12bucks, I guess it cost 20 bucks to get that image on te scope>>>

obviously you don't know how to operate it...I'm sure the radioshack dudes had a good laugh at you...look the monkey can't work a focus knob..haha...!!!

I have the 420 scope, a jewlers loupe and a 10X magnifyer. The 420 scope was a gift and I absolutely love it! Use it all the time. As has already been said just snip off a leaf, lay it on a table and enjoy. It is freakin amazing what you can see with 100X view. I haver some sweet Thai that is 40 days in veg and the trich's that are already forming are mind blowing. I could not imagine growing canabis and not being able to view the various stages of growth. I highly reccomend everyone get some type of hand held scope to view your ladies.

ok well all i said was i got one and thought it sucked. thats my opinion, sorry if i hurt your guys feelings or whatever. no need to talk shit because i have an opinion about something, pretty sure everyone has one.

Thanks guys i dont think i would have even thought of looking in Radio Shack who know? Gonna go pick one up tomorow! Maybe put my own 420 sticker on it! lol.

picked up that scope from the source today thats awesome! dirt cheap too, the wife started getting huffy puffy when i told i had to go to the source to get a microscope. But then i told her it was $12, she's use to my 20 minutes gone $200 outtings i guess! lol Thanks guys great Suggestions!
