You obviously haven't read the last 10 pages in here!! 'what's a seed' and 'do i need a light' or 'why is my seed growing'!!! It's the same questions over and over again, even in other sections it's the same questions.

In my short time here it seems that anything new is attacked with derision, just an observation.

? not sure what this is all about? this thread only has 2 pages, and it hasn't been my experience that anything new here is attacked with derision. furthermore, if by "new" you mean new members, and by "last 10 pages" you mean threads in the "newbie central" forum, then i'm still confused as to what you're comment indicates.
Now, if what you're trying to communicate is, "this is the newbie central forum and most people in here are most certainly looking to be taught from the most basic question on up," then I suppose that some new members use the newbie central for that, but that only represents a tiny portion of the entire website, and the threads i'm most involved in are quite open about the commitment to discussion, debate, and communal growth.

hey in this thread we can all be doctors. call me doctor dan.

Were just funnin and waiting on the knowledge drop.
Plus I'm teaching him how to talk the cool
way.

May I just add that I, as well, have grown fond of this thread? And that I'm still waiting on that new revolutionary type of finesse that could only come from a doctor/professor.

This is the part I found confusing about the link Professor.
paste.
I am currently developing a curriculum to certify grower at a medical level.

I have been working on broad criteria for medical growers in hopes to set a higher bar and another level of acceptance for the professional level grower. Not unlike that for a personal trainer or an organic farmer. I'm in no way saying I know everything about cannabis, I have studied and grown the plant on a medical level for 15 years and I work with and heavily rely on many people, research facilities and universities. I have a severely disabled son and my work is ultimately in hopes to just maybe find the best strain I can to make his life that much better. I apologize if I came off flamboyant. The best in the world are the people no one knows about, they are some of you on here. Those are the people I want to reach. The serious ones, the ones I can learn from and share with. We need to set the standard of medical grade Marijuana. If we don't in 15 years it will be government and pharmaceutically regulated. Quality and selection with disappear and home grows will be taken. The lessons will be posting soon. Take a look and decide for yourself.

Just to be clear, we aren't bashing you. It's in good fun and hopefully I'm not inaccurately representing my peers here when I say that. But your entrance here is making us curious, needless to say. I'm happy that you're here with us, and I'm anxious to see what you're all about.

I would trust a doctors advice faster than anyone who calls himself UNCLE...that's just creepy

didn't know about your boy. I think your intentions are good.

ditto. I think we found ourselves a keeper.

I guess it would be creepy if I used my RIU profile name in real life situations. ;P

I hope you guys aren't having trouble distinguishing my sarcasm from seriousness. Saying that was sarcasm lol

^^^no problem boss I was able to read between the lines. Yeah I think if I used my profile name it would be a drag.

Yes, the noise in here can be deafening at times. There's plenty of youth here, many of which would be unable to keep a philodendron alive for a week, let alone complete a grow. Teenagers know everything, it's a gift. There's also plenty of self-proclaimed experts here, some are quite vocal. OTH, there are also plenty of serious growers here, with goals similar to yours. The amount of knowledge and the breadth of experience that can be found here is astonishing. You'll find an audience here for your science.

I figured it out.
My bad reaction that is.

I hated school and I love weed.
Not your problem.
Please forgive me. :)
