get a 600watt, you can get MH bulbs pusging 72k lumnes and 90k+ lumnes HPS, my MH system is treating me well

If you can use the 1000 watter without a heat issue, go for it. To answer your question: The difference between the 400 you're using now and the 1000 you want to use, is huge!

No shit there. i'm runnin the 400w, puts out aroud 50,000 lumens. Not sure cuz i've never had the pleasure of having one, but I'd imagine the 1,000 watter would put out wel over 100,000 lumens! Nothin quite like some hps love.... or a lot

Lol if u flower with ur 1000 watt hps u can expect twice the quantity when u harvest bro. Thats a harvest of truly matured sick 10 to 15 inch colas that wiegh anywhere from 18g dry to 26 gs dry.

if you can keep the heat down definetly switch to the 1000 watt. ive seen 1000 watt growrooms and compared to my 400watt system you get way more at harvest with the 1000watt. but if you cant keep the heat down its not worth it.

im thinking about justbuying anouther 400watt to put in the same box as my other 400watt instead of just compleatly geting rid of the 400 to buy a 1000.
im going to try out the 1000 tomorrow to see how hot it will get. i have a big area to grow in so should be fine.
