hey guys heres a pic update today is day 20 of 12/12
comming along mostly good
except the only problem is ive been having some yellowing
i thought maybe nute burn, it might be
but i am running lucas formula, with small amount of supplements.
any ideas wut it might be?
also its starting to put out some trichs

(the black domina is top (darker) blueberry cannalope on bottom. the pic was taken after lsting the blueberry over towards its side, it was growing over that pure indica domina)

im getting kinda worried about the yellowing on the blueberry

i dont see how as i have low res temps
and the domina is PERFECT right now.
yellowing, some leaves are bending downtoward only near the buds? maybe its because the buds are about to start packing on weight?
or idk?
im just worried about this blueberry cannalope, but it smells SOOO good. fruity.
i hope all is well.

Dude, what i see here is a lot of bleaching from the HPS. Also, would explain why the Black Domina's Main Cola looks so dry, which leads to a too close HPS since the other plant seems fine by the watering matter. Maybe your HPS is too close to the plants OR too strong for your grow box. Did you have the 75watts psf in mind when you got that 400w HPS? The leaves kinda look like Cooper or mag def...or both, don't know for sure but that definetly a nute def. Take a close look at this post http://www.icmag.com/ic/showthread.php?t=11688 it's a complete guide to plant problems...should save it also. I would suggest to get that HPS higher and cooltubed...and/or just using a less wattage HPS if the growbox is not bigger than 5.3 Sqfeet. You could've easily scroged this....keep scrog in mind next time....gives a good boost on yeild AND controls height. Girls are looking awsome, just need to solve the yellowing which looks kinda severe in that last pic of the post before this one. Make sure you post pics with HPS OFF (really important) in the plant problems sector. As i am also kinda of unexperienced, just really well read. Also have to keep in mind that in LATE flowering (near the end) yellowing is naturally expected.

lookin good bro. i wanna see how this one finishes up. ive always wanted to try black dominia. ill put it on my shopping list of strains to grow. anyways im sub'd. check out my grows (in sig). one is almost at harvest time. 2 weeks away. the other is 3 jack herer clones i hav vegging in a cfl box. keep it real!

the black domina cola is a little lower than that of the height of the ones from the blueberry but none the less ive felt like this is bleaching all along. My light if fine for my grow area, my problem is that the plants got wayyyy too tall. i thought i would be fine but i under estimated the genetics lol. so if light bleaching is my problem, and i can NOT move my light any higher, i think im going to be buying a cool tube this week. or trying to LST the plants more than i already have. I would like to scrog my next grow. this is my 2nd grow in this growbox and the light has been fine thus far, just the fact of the plant getting way to close to the light. so im gonna have to do something about that, as well as the defiecentcies are something that i am working on fixing as well.
my flood and drain schedule is every 4 hours for 12 minutes.
ph has been giving me LOTS of problems this grow
but i am finally getting it managed i think
which again would explain alot of the problems. ive dropped nute levels to help fix the ph problem for the last 2 days but i am about to bump back up the nutes and hopefully help the plants alot.

Cool man, seems like your getting things sorted out. Shit man ph can be a bitch sometimes!! Cooltube that shit haha!! I bet cool tube will solve some of the problem but not all of it, bring those bitches down with lst. But seriously nice setup man, looking good. I bet this grow's gonna give ya some good buds after the problems have been solved. If your into DIY shit, RIU has a lot of cooltube setups. Also read up on ph managment since it's been giving you probs, we can sometimes forget some shit about ph and it'll fuck up our girls.
I THINK, i am not sure about this, if the bleaching gets to severe you can try and switch to cfls for the rest of the grow. Changing lighting during a grow WILL cause a shock in your plants, but i don't think it'll kill them since in nature lighting can drastically vary. But anyways i'm not sure about this info, and i RECOMMEND you seek information from more experienced growers.

hey wuts up buddy, things are looking alot better, still getting a lil yellowing
but now i feel its not so much bleaching but rather just the phase in flowering they are in.
the buds are starting to bulk up a bit
i will try and post a pic update soon but my girlfriend took our camera out of town this weekend
so i dont have it to take pics :/
i will attempt to use someone else's camera seeing as i haven't photoupdated in over a week
i usually try to post at least 1 big photo update a week.
today is day 41 of 12/12 and tomorrow is the end of week 6 of 12/12
i feel like i have at LEAST another 2 weeks, so should be finishing around week 9

they are looking good! bulking up alott. more everyday. rippening starting, some hairs are starting to turn orange but they are still growin' . I never completely got rid of the yellowing in the blueberry cannalope, but i believe its so late in flowering now that its ok and just has to do with it being in flowering. the Domina has a little bit of yellowing now as well but i can tell its just normal of being at the end of flowering. The domina has the biggest cola but all the buds are pretty damn big bulking and bulking
PH has been fixed and i have been using RO water, just did a res change today.
How far from the end do you guys think they are? Im thinking something around 2 weeks? Was thinking about harvest sometime around april 10th at the earliest?
Ive heard of these strains finishing at around 8-9weeks.

Damn, those are big buds!! Nice man, yea this late in flowering it would be really hard to correct any yellowing issues.
But hey contrary to what i thought, i've read here in RIU that it's good to have nice green leaves from start to finish (i'm still digging in this) what i've read so far is that normally the overall bloom nutes lack in N(Nitrogen) and give in a lot of P(phosphorous), which would be the cause of the yellowing. This gives you more yield but less quality, but like i said i'm still looking into it.
Man remember next time to SCROG that shit, you'd get really happy with the nice plus yield it gives, and also plant control. Nice HPS, see you got it cooled, very nice. So RO water, is it much better to control? I've heard it beats distilled water....what were you using before? Plants are looking at a nice finish man keep up.
Oh and about the flower time, well check out some shit on the net about the strains, there's plenty of info. But i'll bet they'll be ready for harvest on the 8th week which was yesterday ahaha!!
