Setup:
Environment:
400w MH/HPS
HomeboxL tent
340 CFM whisperline
6" x 18" Carbon Filter

Grow Info:
4 aerobuckets (5 gallon buckets with 8 sprayers).
- 2 x Kandy Kush
- 1 x Hash Plant Haze
- 1 x Blue Hash

Nutes:
AN Sensi Grow/Bloom A+B
Bud Blood
Big Bud
Overdrive

Day 0 - 11/30/09:
Recieved seeds (4xKK, 1xHPH, 1xBH).
Started paper towel+heatmat germination.

Day 1 - 12/01/09:
5/6 seeds popped and transferred to rockwool.
Lost a kandy kush seed while transferring :( (dropped and it vanished forever).

Day 4 - 12/04/09:
Gave seedlings CFL light... It was a mistake to wait so long, but I had read to wait until true leaves show up. It caused 2 of the seedlings to become stretched, but giving them light helped within hours.

Day 5 - 12/05/09:
Moved rockwool into netcups with hydroton. Netcups sitting in water with level just under rockwool.

Day 10 - 12/10/09:
Two of the seedlings had started to wilt, perhaps since the water level had gotten too low. Moved netcups to aeroponic buckets and moved the buckets into the tent under the 400w MH.

...until next time.

Day 11 - 12/11/09:
Things are mostly looking good... except for one of the kandy kush plants has droopy leaves.

Any ideas?

Info:
Temperature: 75-79 degrees
Resevoir temperature: 68-69 degrees
PH: 5.7
Timer: 1 min on, 4 min off

It has looked droopy for about 2 days (droopy before transfer).

Thanks (+rep for help)

i have had a couple do that to me once, put some thing non reflective on the top of the bucket, the leaves are curling to catch the reflection.

Day 13 - 12/13/09:
Things are looking pretty good. I wasn't able to find any problems with the drooping seedling (temp, ph, rockwool moisture level, etc) and I noticed the roots were still growing well, so I figured I'd just hope for the best. Today it does look better and appears to hopefully be recovering. The Blue Haze and the other Kandy Kush look the best so far. Roots coming out from the netcups reaching for water look nice and white. Next update when they get their veg growth spurt (or if any problems are encountered...).

Day 18 - 12/18/09:
As requested...
The blue haze and one of the kandy kush's look like they are starting to take off.
The drooping kandy kush has recovered, but its growth has lagged.
It looks like the hash plant haze is experiencing some nute burn, but I haven't added any nutes in about a week (and PPM was only 30-40). I can't check PH until my new meter gets here, but it was at ~5.5 a few days ago.

Roots on all the plants look healthy. The two plants that have been having trouble were also the ones that experienced stretch from light not being introduced right away.

Day 20 - 12/20/09:
Changed to 24/0 -> 20/4.

Day 22 - 12/22/09:
The previously droopy seedling is growing and looking much better, but it's growth has noticably been stunted.
The nute burned seedling still has nute burns, but new growth looks much healthier. However, this plant is also behind.
The blue haze looks good, but has some twisting in the leaves. Likely PH issue, but can't check until my replacement meter arrives (any day).
The other kandy kush looks the best. Roots on all plants look healthy... definitely some lessons learned in terms of timing/stability, but this is my first grow and I'm just hoping for a decent yield and some good clones for a couple mothers.

Anyway, some pictures below. Picking up screens to put around the entire water pumps today :).

haha nice man, next run keep them on 24/0 for only like 1 week, then switch to 20/4, kinda crazy how they blow up over night huh?

Yeah, also going to get a small humidifier or something for seedling/early veg. It's low in the tent (~25% RH +/-5%).

Breaking my PH meter didn't help either...but no casualties.

Day 23 - 12/23/09:
Added a layer of fiberglass screening above the pump to buffer from the roots.

Day 27 - 12/27/09:
Went out of town for a couple days, but I didn't have my PH meter before I left. Well, got back to a nute burned Kandy Kush with a PH of about 3.3 :(. I corrected the PH and cut the nutes back by 2/3 yesterday (PH meter finally arrived). It's still growing, but the nute burned leaves look pretty bad. I guess I have two questions...

Regarding the 2 nute burned leaves (I'm assuming the droopy leaves will recover now that PH has been corrected):
- What is the best thing to do for the health of the plant? (cut them off at the stem, trim those leaves back, ignore them, etc)
- When to do it?

Suggestions welcome, thanks.

Day 31 - 12/31/09:
Things are looking better across the board. The nute burn sucked, but lesson learned (seem to be a few of those on this first go :)) and hopefully that's behind me. PH levels are good and the plants have all responded with some healthy growth... Now just want to make sure I don't nute burn again (the damage you see was only 1/4 teaspoon dilluted into 3 gallons, which was about 45 ppm + the PH issues), so I'm starting again very slowly (starting at about 1/16th teaspoon for now).
