I think he's saying that you need holes in the side of your cups. This will allow more air to circulate and allow more roots to escape into the water in the tub.
easier said than done.. but ill definitely look into it. i want as many roots to get down there as possible. it would just be hard as hell to cut them lol

smoke a blunt and put the cups in a tub of water and do some careful cutting, then you will beable to put them back in the grow tub. be careful and it should take you atleast 2hrs and 4blunts to get the job done right

If you cqan't open more holes can you transplant them into net pots?
What type of media are you using?

Peace

Ill probably leave them in the cups for this grow, I couldnt find any net pots around town ( until i found a hydro shop close ) next grow i will definitely be setup correctly. And im just using soil for my medium. i know. different.

You'll be fine, just will take more time for a good major root mass could hit the water, and really start growing! It will just hit one day and you will see them grow every day!

Everything is looking mighty fine. There growing really fast root systems. Def. going to have some good turnouts on this harvest. You just wait. Where are you with PPM?

Dude, this is so cool! Your roots look great & you're proving the naysayers wrong!!

Congrats!!
yea i think the soil is working well  they seem to love this setup. everyone was right about dirt getting into the rez. but after a water change i dont think that ill have that problem, the roots are filling in the holes quite nicely

dont have a meter.. im just following foxfarms feeding instructions at 1/4 strength for now. ill probably bump it up to 1/2 strength at the end of the week. i was thinking of switching to 12/12 wednesday or thursday. That would put them at 2 weeks of veg, or should i wait a little while longer? thanks everyone:leaf:

Wait until you have a couple sets of alternating nodes before you flower. That shows the plants are mature enuff to bloom. Otherwise, you'll cut down your weight.
