Hello everybody, glad to be back after a transitional period! I moved early this year, and now that I have some room to spread my wings... well.. I have.

I amended about 60-70 gallons of SuperSoil (not sure about how many bags, weight, etc) and I've made a nice setup for myself over the last few months, and I'm now currently at day 10 veg

The basic specs are as follows..

Strains
Barney's Farm Sweet Tooth - 10 pack, feminized, got them in Amsterdam from Barney's; 7 are currently alive and well
Strawberry cough - not feminized, many going strong
Mango x Afghani x Silver Pearl (Magoo); REALLY excited about this strain, non feminized; I have 2 which are kicking ass
AK-48 - One alive, non feminized, possibly a mutie
White Russian - non fem, one solid plant
Lemon G - non fem, again just one
MYSTERY - non feminized, don't remember the strain, but I will upload a picture of the herb I got it out of (sometime soon)

Gear

Veg (approx 12' L x 4'-5' W x 7' H): 2x 400w MH (digital ballasts, 240v), 6" Daystar AC hoods and a 6" Can Fan

Flower (approx 13' x 13' x 7): 4x 1000w HPS (digital ballasts, 240v, Cap MLC4 lighting controller), 8" hoods w. insulated ducting and 8" Max Fan

This room will be sealed, ventilation will be only through the hoods (exterior -> hoods -> exterior).

I also have a large Can Filter and a 10" max fan to go with it, along with an AutoPilot 8 burner C02 genny (w. propane tank) to "create" "fresh" air for the plants

I'm using a roots organic base and as I mentioned I will be transplanting to Subcool's SuperSoil recipe, as well as using Nugbuckets main-lining training strategy.

So that's the basic rundown, I will post some pics of progress gradually over the next day or two; thanks for tuning in!

Lots of air space for cooling, not that the digital phantoms get all too hot

Keeps crashing when I upload the last ballast pic.. maybe tomorrow!

Just made an album of my last DWC cab grow.. I was a little too lazy to do a log for that one, but check out the album on my profile if you're interested.

Hello everyone, time for a quick strain-by-strain photo update.

Today is day 23 veg, everyone has been topped twice and trained once. Main lining has begun!

Yesterday I took clones off each plant, one for sexing and one as a potential mother.

Here are the MaGoos, still growing ahead of the pack
zUcfO.jpg

Here is the AK48, looking a little wonky. I damaged one of the branches during training, but it's rebounding. I also think this (hopeful) gal is a mutie.

Here are all of the Sweet Tooth

This is the White Russian. Accidentally cut off one of the new branches.

MYSTERY! Still looking good.

(healthy clones!)

Thanks for tuning in! I'm incredibly busy right now but I'll try to do a better update soon.

Thanks man! Yeah I'm really really excited about the Sweet Tooth. I'm a grapefruit fanatic, and blueberry is stable and has a great growth pattern; it should be a really interesting strain to grow.

Sweet tooth will probably be the majority of my flowering plant count next round; this time I'm spreading it out to see what works really well in SS and mainlined.

Well, everybody.. I need to apologize for being absent for SO SO LONG. I can't believe it's been a month already since I last updated you all on the still (mostly) thriving 7 strain family living with me. Grad skool has been kicking my ass and it's all I can do to keep everyone trained and happy, let alone take group photos.

Luckily, however, I brought you lovely people more than just a lame cop-out post! In lieu of disappointment I bring you somewhat of a double update.

first will be a round of pictures from day 41 VEG! HOW THE TIME FLIES!

This is a long shot of the veg room. A shelf has been replaced on the right-hand side to support a second generation now thriving in #1 pots.

AK-48, day 41 veg. AK is the slowest of the bunch, but still looking OK. I damaged this plant a little bit during the initial cloning round. I'm hanging on to it in the hopes that it may be female (I also have a clone or two).

Here is MYSTERY! Still one of the strongest plants in the room. Has grown very rapidly and heartily since sprouting with little stretch. High hopes for a female here.

Here is lemon G shortly after the transfer. This plant really takes off between updates, make sure to compare to the next post after more training.

Part B of this rousing two part update showcases progress since the transplant, as well as the most recent round of training. The tomato cones will be getting chopped this weekend! These photos are from the end of day 52 VEG. For ease of posting, we will say this is DAY 52 VEG.

First off will be two long shots of the veg room, I like to start out with these. You can really see a nice even canopy level developing.

(as a general rule of thumb the 10 gallon pots up front are Sweet Tooth (mostly) and the back handful are Strawberry Cough; the other strains are in the middle.)

6gEKk.jpg

ghG9W.jpg

Now a plant I'm REALLY excited about! THIS little lady just informed me that she and her mother are both healthy females! I give you Magoo 2nd generation! That's right, confirmed female Mango x Afghani x Silver Pearl genetics in the house; I also have a young male (got rid of the older one) that I may or may not breed with depending on the quality of smoke from these females.

koran.jpg

Below is a nicely trained Sweet Tooth plant. I believe this is a confirmed female; one of my favorites so far either way. This one is trained with all 8 arms to the outside, without two in the middle. I was debating doing 16 colas for this plant, but I decided against it, so all 8 will probably be trained to the outside of an inverted cone.

GrOzs.jpg

This is a freshly trained white russian. The younger copies of this plant are doing really well. This one is doing alright, but I would like to see some more pronounced growth in the next week (I'm giving some allowance for them being a bit root-bound at transplant).

nEcGn.jpg

Here is my CONFIRMED FEMALE Magoo! Super super excited about this girl.

Below is Mystery, day 52

70czr.jpg

AK still holding steady but not really taking off. I have hope.

i7XXx.jpg

This is Lemon G day 52. Like I said, this plant is doing really well and already responding nicely to training. This formation is my goal pretty much. 6 branches tied out radially and two unrestricted in the middle.

TIEvp.jpg

Here are most if not all of the Strawberry Cough plants. They are freshly trained, not drooping. Day 52 veg!

OH and 2 of these are confirmed female. One more SC female is not in the photo.

Now I almost didn't put this last bit up.. but I'm going to. I finished off the hood ventilation in my flowering room. Here are some updated shots. Everything is more or less finished. Cords and ropes will be bound and tied up, so pretend they aren't there.. haha.

Hood ducting scheme from the back of the room, showcasing placement of green light.

asBrL.jpg

Hood ducting comes in from the other room.

BgiF5.jpg

And goes out through the tarp door for minimal dry-wall damage.

ab7kH.jpg

Attempted long-shot of the entire ducting scheme from the front w. hoods on.

MIzCV.jpg

Finally, a picture of the tarp door setup from the outside. There is an 8" gun-barrel style max-fan hung outside the door. Again the goal was minimally intrusive install; I may duct this (using non-insulated 8") up the basement stairs to drop the temp down there a couple degrees.
