i have 4 watt setup right now. and im looking to go with a little water cooling, but instead I am looking into this...

http://www.watercooledgardens.com/product.php?productid=16371&cat=274&page=1

the 32000 btu model.

with this chiller

2 hp.

so this should give me 24000 btus of cooling for 4000 watts of lighs. thats 16000 btus of heat.

my question is if this will be enough for me to get supplemental cooling..

the chiller will be outside the house. and i will be using a 75 gallon rez with a 1 hp pump.

incase anyone cares i am also using co2 and the undercurrent system.

the 64 model for sea of green. veg for 3 weeks and let em go. using the method i use now of air cooled hoods with no co2 im getting rougle 1.5 per plant. i really want to bump that up to 2 or even 3.

any help much appreciated

A sealed room and a big enough standard a/c with humidifiers and dehumidifiers is what you want and cheaper. That thing you were looking at is a swamp cooler, it will keep your humidity too high and leave you no control over it as well as just not work nearly as well as a standard a/c.

I thought it was an industrial swamp cooler, never mind. I'd go with a high efficiency mini split air conditioner/heat pump though if I were you.

Typically because bigger is not always better when it comes to A/C units. They have to be properly sized for the space.

scrapped that system....read the journal in my sig.

i did the 4k grow, but it was with air cooled lights in the winter. harvested 6 lbs of all tga genetics. now i'm onto a larger grow currently.
