400 watt mh on 24 hrs a day or 18/6 what you guys think?

So im just curiouse because i plan on putting 4 plants outside in august to flower or so and im only in clone stage no roots yet butim expecting in the next week but give me about a month to grow em then put em out side. id slowing drop the time from 24 20 18 16 14 through the 5 days then put them outside to flower. im going to use well water ph of 7 all i got cause i think if i change ph of water from outside to inside water it'd stunt the plant

18/6 ...save some $$

I run my MH 18/6 and my plants love it. I like to think they need a break some. 18/6 is good. Never done 24 b4

aight well another question i want to grow those plants in ocean forest fox farm soil with the 3 part nutrients outside what do u think?

never used FF outside b4 but seems ok. It works well indoors u would think outside would be too.

As far as light cycle I have always liked 18/6. I mean, we are trying to more or less replicate the real world, right? Anyway, recently I thought I should give 24hr cycles a try since so many people swear by it and I am pretty surprised. Good growth-if there was a boost I would say 10%, if any at all. I will probably switch back to 18/6, because like stoned said, they probably would like a break.

Also, I am currently using FF soil along with the whole line including 3 part additives (Indoor). I am amazed. super simple, and very, very high quality buds. As far as outdoor I am currently trying them for the first time there as well but I have seen pretty great growth throughout. I hope the buds turn out as good as my indoor, grape apes, done in about a week. Ill surely post some pics of the harvest.
