400 watt hps sunsytem good deal

ok so im looking to upgrade from cfls to a hps. I found a 450watt sunsystem 10 ballast with a sunsystem yield master 2 for $250.00. that also includes 2 bulbs. you think that's a good deal and that I should swoop it? or should I continue to search? Thanks

i got a 600 watt hps and balast made by sunlight supply with brand new bulb for $200. bulbs can be pretty expensive so you are getting a pretty good deal i think. i think good bulbs are 80-100 bucks a piece but it depends

ya it comes with 2 bulbs. does anyone know if the sealed sunsystem yieldmaster II is cooler in an enclosed area than a cool tube

Look on Craigslist if your in the US.I got a 1000 watt switchable ballast with 6 inch hydrofarm air-cooled hood,super hps hotilux bulb and a 6 inch can fan for $170 bucks I just was patient and looked everyday for 1 month straight,just luck but if you are patient and look around you could find some kick ass deals.

thats what i did..but all the ones i saw seemed sketchy but none the less good deals

yea craigslist is a possibility but you know your going to be buying from a grower so i dont know id rather just get it new for a good price
