Hi guys . I m planning to build setup for growing and i have question .
120x120x200 tent 400w SOL led lamp . this setup is enough to grow 4x feminised seed?

led lamp explanation : 400w SOL Led Lamp PAR value is equal to 360w HPS Bulb. Consumes 100w of power.

I don’t think that’s enough for the area , what do they say the footprints are on it , I use spider farmer 1000, pulls 100 from wall , I use for veggie and as extra, with a Qb 480, you’l have to get something bigger ( light)

400w of good quality led is enough for autos in this space running them 20/4 for photoperiod plants you Will need 540w... But i dont think you have 400w of leds here. Its based upon the power its drawing.

I was searching for that light and couldn’t find it , lol it’s not what I thought it was , I think that pulls 400watts of the wall not 100, looks like 4*100

Looks like similar with mine . just a little bir different appearance. need to translate it english . those in the descriptions

The new SOL LED Grow lights are an engineering marvel that utilizes the most advanced integrated LEDs to create bright, intense and powerful beams of light. Just like the sun, it emits light beams in a concentrated and lossless state.

The LEFT LED Lamp is designed for 60x60 cm areas with a PAR value equivalent to 150w HPS. With its patented and special 5th generation quantum spectrum balancing feature; It has amazing properties that allow you to achieve record yields , much tighter node spacing , super - dense flowers and fruits , in short , bringing the sun into the house !

INTEGRATED COB LED

Integrated 50 or 100w 7 band LED Chips are produced by placing 3w chips on the same plate. The plate is completely copper and covered with silver to create a dense LED Matrix. Thanks to the integrated LED technology (COB LED), higher lighting efficiency and maximization of the benefit from the light are provided compared to other models using lenses. This returns as faster growth during the development and flowering period. COB LEDs have the best color ratio and are sufficient for all periods. The LEDs used in the chips are Epiled.

Each chip consists of 32 x 3w (100w) or 64 x 3w (200w) leds.
Color distribution

LED distribution on 32x3w chips:
660nm RED x 12, 640nm RED x10, 610nm Orange x 2, 470nm Blue x 3, 440nm UV x 3, 730 IR x 1 525nm x 1

LED distribution on 64x3w chips:
660nm RED x 28 , 640nm RED x16, 460nm Blue x 4, 470nm Blue x 4, 440nm UV x 8, 730 IR x 2,525nm x 2

Warranty period : 2 years

Technicial Specifications :

LED : 4x100 watts
Power Consumption: 200w
HPS Equivalent: 400w HPS
Working Voltage: 85-277V
Cooling method 4 x 80mm dual bearing fans
Spectrum: 7 bands
Lighting Area (from 30-45 cm height) 100x100 cm
Cable length : 3 meters

I'm sorry but that is a low quality light and you need about 480-640 watts power consumption for a 120 x 120, (4x4 feet).

6 years ago, I grew it with my friend's equipment. I grew it with 400w hps light. the harvest rate was not low. Isn't this led lamp equal to 400w hps?
the less electricity it draws from the outlet the better for me

No. It is equivalent to 100w hps.
Maybe slightly better, but nowhere near 4:1

Where are the PPF/PPFD numbers?? Wattage is a great indication of power but if the efficiency of the components are crap you could really just be wasting electricity. For LEDs with the new tech they have today efficiency that is 2.6 umol/J is what you want to aim for. PAR is the real number you want to know its tells you how much actual energy is available for your plants to drive photosynthesis. Problem also is that alot of companies exaggerate their numbers so having a 3rd party like DLC certification is helpful to verify these numbers. a 2 year warranty on this light is a joke. 5 years is the standard now

I had a very similar one for the first grows I did. I had 2 of them for 2 plants and ended up getting a third that was a 3 in a row cob to round it out as those could not put out enough power over the area when you lower it to proper heights in flowering. Even the description of yours says 60x60 as a max. You could do 3 or 4 of those perhaps, one per plant. Really though, take a look at some of the ~600w quantum boards on alibaba or the like for more effective growth and coverage.

I use a 100w light, one per plant. Mine start to get light burn at about 10 inches so I keep them closer to 12-14 inches. One 100w light is perfect for each plant

what kind of light? 10-12 inches crazy. So close to the plants how big of space would u use?

In pics: still have 10-20 days of flower left, and the grease monkey maybe 4 weeks; it’s a super slow finisher.
I highly recommend those lefreshinsoft lights off amazon, only $60-$80 each — same samsung diodes as the expensive brand; helps to be able to adjust them to exact heights. I keep them 12-14 inches away. I was pushing them closer to 10 inches this past week to really swell up for flower, but started to get light burn on the tips so backed it off lol.

15 lights for 12-14 plants. Topped lots of times. 5 gal buckets DWC / Coir or 10 gal soil. Veg for a couple months, and get monsters with only 1,500 watts per room for lighting
