Does it mean that more veg time ->bigger root mass->bigger plant->bigger yield?
Absolutely! A 12ft plant will produce more than a 2 ft. For sure. And please, please pH if possible. I tend a big grow. We had a plant where soil medium averaged a little over 7 and another that averaged around 6.5. After the same amount of time and feed, etc. the 6.5 plant was about a foot taller after the veg time.
pH levels control the ENTIRE nutrient mechanisms of your plant.

Yea i was planning to ph and then i searched in the net and read that it is not needed when you grow in soil than in hydro. I am not sure though, my plants are tottaly green, no nute burns and they are drinking water (as a dude told me recently that is essential) and they are healthy for sure, so we will see.I am definately going to share the results, so keep in touch!

Got the dehumidifier!!! it's awesome,my humidity from 75% is about 40% in one day, the only bad thing is that it raised the temp a little bit. Todays temp lights on was about 84 f. Is it too much? I keep solving the problems and suddenly a big one always appears, i love this hobby!

Just a quick update, how is she doing, I think is a she(searching every day for bananas or male flowers, nothing yet likely). Also i have another plant (she also, i think) it's silver cheese anyone heard of it? It's 2012 strain, i can't find allmost anything about it (like a journal), it's very small and very compact she has been treated the same way as the diamond and here she is...

What do you think gyuz???

Hey Lospsi,

They look alright to me - I just read the thread and I think the other fellers were right. Major light leaks have definitely set this lady back a week or two. Also it is important to note that most breeder times are from the time of sexing the plant and not necessarily from 12/12 - the reason for this is so you are able to properly time your harvest with the changing of the trichomes. Otherwise, if the clock started at 12/12 you would end up harvesting way early.

As for the phenotype, you may have lucked out with it taking this long to show bud-sites...this is from the Big Bud seed-bank page...

Super Silver Haze X Big Buddha Cheese (Reversed)
Genetics:Sativa 75% Indica 25%
Flowering time:Indoors = 9-11 weeks / Outdoors = End of Sept/Oct.
Sensory experience:Super uplifting high with a powerfull stone.
Smell:Unique hazey, fruity, spice a real connoisseurs delight!
Taste:Super classic haze with kushy dank overtones

Lucky for you, it looks like because of its high sativa genetics, your strain is going to run 9-11 weeks indoors. This means with the light leaks, you might be week 2/3 out of 9-11. So - patience young grasshopper.

Also, I could almost guarantee that girl will want more room for her roots by the time you harvest, so I would suggest getting it into a bigger pot ASAP - in fact this is perfect timing, as you should only stress a flowering plant during week 1 or week 3....after that, it's too late and can hermie the plant.

Other than that - the girl looks super healthy! Patience and the buds will come. I have a Dairy Queen right now which is a Cheese, Cindy 99 and Romulan...and it is just crazy covered with trichs. Have fun!

-Smacks.

Thnx for taking your time and answering in my post, first grow and many mistakes so far that kept me a little behind. The first big mistake was that i didn't add any perlite in the soil,2nd the light leaks kept me behind about 15-16 days as a result the diamond is starting to outgrow the canopy i was aiming for( i have only a 135w ufo), also i should have topped before started lst cause the main cola is growing faster than the other branches, so i have to tie her down and much more. girls are showing bigger and bigger every day and hairs are starting to grow slowly but steady. I AM SOOOOOO EXCITED !!!
