i saw a scrog tutorial on here that recommends a piece of moist paper towel taped on by scotch tape. he said it always heals within 2-3 days.

never done it personally.
 
Jumping on board for this one. Wishing you all the best!!! I'm growing two auto strains (mini-MTF and LowBerry) in addition to some others (link is in my sig). Sure wish I had noticed your grow before but I've been moving. Let me know if you get it dialed in on popping these seeds; in my experience these are really hard. Great setup, BTW!!
 
hi, I like your set up and enthusiasm. I have a couple grows under my belt, and have been looking into the auto's. Some things that I have found that could help is auto's dont have a veg stage and you don't need to use and veg fertelizers. A good soil mix should give what is needed for up to 4 weeks. You should treat the auto's like seedlings for 2 to 3 weeks. So, if you put them in whatever size pot you want them to end up in, you can just switch to a bloom fertilizer with something like a 5-10-5 or 1-2-1 ratio of n-p-k for the rest of the time
. The main thing I see people do is over feed.​
 I would like to point out that greenhouse seeds uses soil for their competition plants the taste is said to be better. With the small size of the plant and short farvest time it just easyer to do so. On the harvest side of this, you might try giving one of your plants one more week of flowering, so flush a week after the others. I hear a lot of people can't get over a 1/4 ambering. This could be that the date you "can" havest and should harvest being up to a week apart.

Anywayz, pic update in a lil while....Oh, and vonderseed, I have to disagree with you on given autos veg nutes...<u did say u been "looking" into the autos, right? so u havent grown them yet??..if you read more info on autos, they LOVE the veg nutes...Actually, an assoc.of mine uses VEG nutes all the way up to day 50! Yeah, day 50! and has AWESOME RESULTS! Plants all are nice and green, not to mention they "GROW" bigger/better because of the Nitrogen...Autos LOVE N & eats up cal/mg....as long as you use the nutes @ 1/4-1/2 strength with "nute free soil" in the first 2wks they will be fine.....(but if using something like ffof in the beginning, then NO nutes, maybe jus a little ff big bloom)...and fyi, I by no means am a pro, I just haved researched, read, researched and read for over a year BEFORE I started this grow.....peace

Okay dudes & dudetts..it's update time!! Sorry for the delay<<these pics are from 2 days ago! they are looking really GREEN I must say! No nute burn, no drooping leaves, no pest, no nothing!!!!! PLEASE , I hope it stays that way...Let us pray..........;-) I also pollinated the lower branches of AK#1<that one showed sex first & pollinated my "only LR2....sprayed them good with seltzer water<full of Co2 and put them both in breeding tent overnight. I them sprayed them again in the morn and put them back in with everybody else....I'm still debating "if" I should pollenate a White Dwarf???whatta ya guyz think? Reason I didnt do it is because; 1.didn't really have a lot of pollen to begin with<since losing so much the other day, 2.only have 5 WD's & 3. that lone male wasn't all that great...as far as size goes...BUT, had to do a lil pollinating on those other 2 strains to get some beans...I mean If i get 50 Ak & 50 easyryder<(LR2 x AK47) seeds, I'm GOOD!!!! I will "try" in the future to breed the best pheno's of those..temps are 81 with 49%RH...

Hey peoples, I thought I would give you guys a lil update on my 4 NON-Auto's which are 31 days old....Kinda gave em' a "mini-flush" with 8oz ea. of water & molasses...I justed FIM'ed 3 of them...both Thai S.S. and 1 of the unknown bag seed...I left the other unkonwn un-fimmed, just to see what happens....Currently I moved them from the Clonebox to my breeding tent...Will switch em' to 12/12 in 2wks:hump:....gonna make some changes/upgrades to the clonebox with a 6" S&P TD-150 inline fan and a 6" odor-sok filter and switch the 8" fan for a 10"-12" oscallating fan, as well as re-position the upper & lower shelves...{move the upper shelf up 2"-3" and move the lower shelf down 5"-6"....doin this to accomidate the 6" ducting up top and accomidate the taller starter pots below} also gonna re-position the 2 clip-on fans below to blow upwards to the light fixture...<this will help with better air-circulation as well as keep the damm clonebox cooler...my temps were avg. @ 90 degrees with the previous set-up<<EVEN with the damm portable A/C runnin!!:shock: [that was due to a weak CFM my 4" fan was puting out! NOT ENOUGH suction for that NEG. pressure needeed doing a passive intake] BUT now with this big ass fan, I should get it.....
I want it to be @ a more comfortable 80 degrees on avg.

Thanks bro...I appreciate it! and that was kinda the idea.....NOT to cut corners! may haved cost MORE, BUT it all will "pay for itself" in the end and for harvests to come.....!

Oh I forgot to tell you guys that I got my RO water filter today! Only paid $59.00 for it!!< Big-Up's to meetzu for the link... NO more buying bottled water!:bigjoint:Here is a pic of new fan/filter that will be going in clonebox too!...ie; Auto VEG. tent!, Did I mention that the clonebox will double as my "drying chamber" too?!.....newly transplanted girls come out of clonebox @ 2-3wks and go into main tent, while mature/dying girlz leave main tent to get chopped @ 9-10wks and go into clonebox to dry for couple of days..it's a "Vicious Circle" for my stagger crop! and this fan/filter combo should be perfect for the job!

Props for the dual purpose clone-box. I'm big into efficiency, and this seems like it'll prove to be good on time and space.
 
my seeds should be here today... I think I'm going to do one each of 4 different strains, so that I can make an informed decision on which strain I want to do a seed run with and put a decent amount of effort into.

among the candidates are;
auto-GWS
Himalayan Blue Diesel
Onyx
Mi5
Purple Jems
(and pretty much all the rest of the "short stuff" autos)

anything you wanted to see specifically?
