3x3 or 4x4 Grow Tent. How many Plants for Best Yeild

Greetings.

Will be using a 3x3 or 4x4 ( undecided) Gorilla Grow Tent with a 500w Extreme 336X-PRO LED.

Question is how many Plants should I put in these tent sizes for max yeild or should I just use 1 Plant. Which will be best for yield? Should I use pots or one big square to cover the whole 3x3 or 4x4 tent.
Strain is Cotton Candy from MJ Seeds

Let em know

Regards

If you're looking for the biggest harvest possible, Sea of Green with a ton of clones. That, or you can grow a few plants and use the Screen of Green method.

Sea of Green involves using as many small clones as you can fit in your area. They grow equally, and you flower them immediately in most cases - this ends up giving you a main cola on each plant and thats all. A canopy of buds, if you will.

Screen of Green is kind of the same thing, but instead of a bunch of individual plants you only have one or a few. You then stretch a net above them, and train your plants to grow outwards instead of upwards.

Check the two methods out on youtube and you should get a better idea :P im still a newb myself, so hopefully some of the other members will chime in.

I would go with 1 of these 2 methods for yields. Id prefer hps for sog just keep a mom or 2 to keep taking clones.
If you are flowering with led then I would go with 4-6 plants in a scrog.

Well that light put's out a 4x4 pattern so you would be wasting your money on a 3x3.

Its "equivalent" to a 1k hps so any of the aforementioned methods are great. We do need to know your media preference to elaborate further.
I would say 8-12 five or ten gallon pots with each plant topped many times.

You will also need to think about a perpetual garden if you want more than 2 harvest's per year. Glow labs has a sweet clone lab that can be use to veg medium monsters or hundreds of baby clones.

SCRog screen of green, done by placing a screen over your plant then as it grows pulling the branches across the screen, once screen is full switch to 12/12 this gives you a screen full of buds. topping is cutting just above a node, the plant will start growing two tops from that point. not a full explanation but you should get the picture and just google them for more info

I do 4-6 in a 4x4x8h area and it gets pretty busy in there near the end with 6 and no real training, so started to do 4. Fyi its flood and drain trays.
