3x3 DWC - how many plants? when using clones

In to planning my future DWC Setup.
I tried to read a lot and compared different DWC setups.
As far i see quite some allow pretty long vegging times and get huge plants therefore.
I dont want to veg my cuts that long.
Want to scrog some cuts under a net to save some vegging time.

Maybe i let the cuts simply root in the netpots in my small veg chamber and put them in the bubbler afterwards, starting from there directly with 12/12.

As there is a mother plant anyway with enough cuts, i can easily put 2, 3, 4, or even 5 in ther bubbler box, that is not the limit.

3 should work safely, i think
4 nice n even
5 would fit the arrangement of the COBs

More to know that most recommend to not do too many plants in a DWC is what limits me.

What do you think would make sense in this configuration?

First strain will be probably a Cheese (Skunk parents).

Will be using the following setup:
-3x3" (90x90cm) Tent
-11 Gallon (42l) Box (39x48x31cm) plus a connected maintenance reservoir Box of 5 Gallons (19l)
this should give a good 40 liters or 11 to 12 Gallons Water for the plants.
-250W CXB3950 (5 Cob Setup)
-2x 400l Eheim Air pumps , 2 large Airstones min.

I have a 4x4 and it only took 2 plants to fill it. I veg'd for 6 weeks but the stretch took over once I flipped. I'm glad I didn't wait any longer to flip. Depending on the strain you could get away with 4 or 5 plants if you do a short veg 4 weeks or so.

haha, that where 2 trees for sure, very nice to watch for sure.
Thank you
I guess they where out of seeds also.
Maybe four clones with a short veg will work good in my case, idk, never did DWC before.

I like dwc because plants seem to grow faster and I have complete control of what goes into the plant from start to finish. Plus I like being 'hands on' ;)

You could do 4 as long as you keep your veg time around 5 weeks, any longer and they're won't be enough room for the stretch, and when you have over crowding it's harder for the light to penetrate. That's why I check every day and still LST every day here and there.

complete understand why you use a DWC
i also like to know what is going on there, soil works but is a bit boring for me.
I just digged deep in to hydrobuddy, very cool software.

Ok, so 4 plants form seed vegged max 5 week could work.
I never veg that long anyway when using seeds, more max 4 weeks.
Still have no experience with cuts/clones in a DWC and no idea how they will fill the room,
maybe making 4 holes in the lid is a good start.

I had 3 plants in a stealth 2 gal, two got nute lockout.

Also if strains are different it van be hard to manage their indivuality

thanks, not planning on using different strains plan using cuts from one mother, just not sure what will be a good amount.
3, 4 or even 5?
The reservoir (for all) will be 11 Gallons (incl. extra maintenace reservoir it will have ca. 11 gallons water for the plants then also).
