3x3 400 watt HPS auto flower, 24/0
Natures living soil 1lb mixed in the bottom third of 5 gallon pots

Tap water only (PDX- Bull run), now only watering from the bottom about 1-2 pints of water per plant once a week, draining any excess

Seeds put into wet paper towels on 4/20, planted 4/22 and popped above soil 4/23&4/24, today is 5/11 and I count as day 18.

Topped 5/9 (cut off 5th node, except gelato cut the 6th node cause it had one extra!) in the morning, leaf tucked a bit today. Seemed to not miss a beat from the topping.

Wow I can say this is easier than my clones, so far! GSC starting to show flowers as of yesterday (preflowers late last week).

Day 32. Another week of growth and I’m impressed with the vigor of these plants. Even if I don’t get good flower, I feel that I have learned a lot about topping and the structure of the plant and think I can replicate that with clones in the future. The ease of seed vs clone is definitely there, hope these genetics produce good bud!

I think the front right GSC is done stretching, I will raise it up so it’s a more even canopy once they are all done stretching. Front left is toothless alien and has a little more stretch left. The back left is double grape and think it’s still stretching. Back right is gelato and I think it’s nearly done with stretching.

I added 1tbsp per gallon molasses and 1tsp per gallon Gnatrol (stupid fungus gnats are persistent) to the last watering. Total 2 gallons so they are drinking a lot more now!

Day 40. The gsc has something wrong with it. The other 3 are doing great. I have no idea what to do as everything is the same as the other 3. 83E776AB-5492-4AC9-BE5E-0D1BBFB72B4A.jpeg30078B40-C040-460F-A36F-129D79EC58C1.jpegD1CA7A00-009A-42CD-937D-394E1252DFC5.jpeg1AD00E39-D539-4BC2-B2F4-CF46FC79D21F.jpeg9219F19C-4320-44F8-90BA-A922FC54B24D.jpegAC4DD044-330F-432A-BA82-870B0328ABB9.jpeg

Day 48. Buds are getting bigger. Double grape is so frosty(pic2)

The GSC (pic3) is not getting worse. My best guess is that I let the soil get too dry, so the roots searched downwards to get water, hit the super soil layer at the bottom and got nute burn badly. I started top watering, only tap water and 1 tbsp molasses per gallon. My hope/reason for molasses is to feed soil microbes (not sure if it’s legit or bro sci).9DA1F4DC-6F4F-4F06-B3A9-F7E9A0A817B0.jpeg44202D24-2DC3-4C90-8A28-FEA93AF3CC1E.jpeg2F460214-C62C-4B66-9254-2EA332A8B7B7.jpeg

I harvested at day 79. Overall love all the buds, but the Gelato is probably my favorite of all of them. Great smoke, very euphoric, and the best “yield” with nice dense buds. I had a baby in May and I had to make some compromise when I came to trimming (all fan leaves and some sugar leaves) and cured it with a bunch of trim on. Sometimes I trim as I use it, but honestly if it’s frosty I’m ok with vaping it in my volcano. I always wet trimmed prior to this, but honestly it made the dry and cure better in my case, so happy compromise. Nonetheless, I have weighed none of it and consuming it so no yield numbers. They all came out between 2-3 jars plus trim, with the exception of the stunted GSC which got 1.5 jars, it’s still is tasty and a great smoke.
