Plants are uprooted and destroyed one at a time or dozens at a time. Police rappel in from a helicopter to pull out a single plant. Cost is, who knows how much, in taxpayer dollars to do this. Then there are people doctor shopping for pain meds or anti-anxiety meds. The emergency room staff tend to people who have accidently over dosed on xanax, which is incidentally the leading leading cause of accidental overdose. Not to mention Acetominophen commonly found in opiate pain meds like vicodin is the leading cause for liver failure. Yet there are all these people who self medicate with marijuana and how many of them end up in the ER, OD'd on MJ?
What does it take? Stop the war, please.

It is all about the giants keeping the money in Petroleum, Pharmaceutical & Petrochemical hands. I guess they make the laws and we all are supposed to abide by them. How in the world can we go back to when hemp was a real cash crop and an honest way to make a living.
