I have posted a few pics on my first grow so far. I am about 31 days into flowering. I have had a few issues i have come by so far but trying my best to just get to harvest time to get my first grow under my belt. I think I over fed a little bit to begin with, but recently have got a better hand on it.

Please let me know what you guys think. I wasn't sure if my plants were the right size for being 31 days in flowering. I have not added co2 yet but was curious if I added it tom if it could still make a difference. I know usually you want to start using it week 2 of flowering but just didn't get to adding to to the room. Thanks.

I wouldn't bother with co2 unless you've maxed out your lighting. And if the room isn't sealed, it'll be a waste.

my room is completely sealed actually. but I am in the start of week 5 so didn't want to mess with it unless it is going to make a difference on yeild

That far along, I'd wait so on the next grow you'll know if its making difference.
 
Great job on a first run you must have been a farmer in your past life or done a lot of reading before you started whatever it was good job

Thanks, make me feel sooo good about myself. haha jk. Yeah they look good and I am happy so far but I have definitely came across my fair share of problems, but so far so good. Still got a long ways to go. Main thing I have had trouble with is what strength to feed my babies with. I was feeding them at about 1300 ppm at one point on a .5 tds meter, but definitely brought that down as I was getting nutrient lockout. Brought it down to about 790 to be safe. I know I could go higher but dont want to risk over feeding them. Also wasn't mixing my nutrients enough in my drum. So a lot of small things I can fix for the next run for sure.

If those are 32 days in now, how much bigger do you think they will get. I know it depends on quiet a few things like strain, room environment, nutrients etc, but can I expect those to get a lot bigger. Also what week do u usually get the most results as far as bud production? Or does that vary as well?
 
last thing, anyone have any suggestions on anywhere I can get some good quality feminized seeds. Kinda hesitant to get them online even though I have a med card that allows me to cultivate.

Also any suggestions on any high yielding, low maintenance strains that I can try out considering I am a beginner and am just trying to get a hang of this for now. Not that I don't want to do the work, just want something that a beginner grower can handle, and once I get experience I can start to try out some of the more tricky strains.

I vegged for 52 days. I have some purple og in there, bubba, candy kush, master kush, and a few sour diesal. The sour diesal i only vegged for less than a month because I got them in the room late. So they are a lot smaller than the rest. Honestly i tried going for to much variety so next time I plan on sticking to two different strains max. See how that goes.

Lights I had 3 1000 watts metal halide for veg. Then for flowering I currently have 5 1000 watt high pressure sodium. I have one extra light I could use but honestly it is not needed. Got it ready if I want to increase my set up at some point.
 
Your only just starting the bulking now so over the next 3-4 weeks depending on the stain you can expect them to double in size same strains dont get huge but the buds will be come compact like rocks so they might not look like your going to yield a lot but some times they can be the best from week 5 till they finish is where all the weight is look back at that photo in 3 weeks and you will be amazed how much they put on sometimes it's hard to tell there putting on size that's why its good to take photos and keep track can always tell when you look back :) all the best i am sure you will be happy with your first grow and its only up hill from here so keep up the good work

Yeah I definitely agree. I look at them constantly or every chance I get so I can't always tell if they are growing. I just am hoping for the best. Only problem I have had is on few of the plant some of the hairs have turned a little tan. Its not to bad but I know they should still be white. I think its due to my room being to dry. I live in colorado and it gets really dry here and there was a few days I didn't keep up with my humidifier so I think I paid the price.

I seen you had a couple grows of your own, is there any where you would recommend to get good feminized seeds?
