so i've had my light on 24/7 with the occasional 4 hour turn off to cool down, i've noticed its started clicking? could it be a fan? the temp atm is at 28 roughly.
Any ideas? its a new light bought from ebay.

The pair "free wheeling diode & switching inductor " inside the fixture's
switching power supply ,just got divorced.
Most probably the inductor is gradually failing ...
Probably due to lack of inrush current suppression NTC thermistor and/ or
excessive heat inside the drivers .
For the time being the driver(s) are having the so called "hick-ups" ..
In a matter of hours or days the light will go completely dead or part dead -
depending on the number of drivers are inside the ..." device " and how many of them are actually failing .
Well, one lesson here to be learned:
"
You get what you pay for "
Still ,you can use it as a heavy-duty door stopper ...
Or make it a fancy micro-aquarium ...
Do not try to replace the inductor ...
Not worth it ...
Anyway ,even if you do that ,then-not that long after- some capacitors will probably will be blown ,or a diode might fry ,a transformer might give up ,some LEDS might move to Solid State Heaven permanently or who knows what else ....
Uhm..You can always recycle it ,also ...
Cheers.
