No problem mate, dont mind you sharing your grow if you talk about mine too, its the people that just drop their grows here and leave that i find iritating.
Things are coming along really well. Theyve shot up in size and are really filling out the gaps my self-built grow are is going to explode by the looks of things i might have to think slightly bigger next time :D .Theyve been in flower for about 4 days now and theyre definitely starting to put out that scent we all love :hump:. The reaction theyve shown towards the general hydroponics is very positive. I give them a feeding based on a feeding schedule for my nutes once every week, on the other days i usually feed normal phed water with a drop of natural honey to feed them a little natural sugar to strengthen them a little extra. I've added two pics so you can see for yourself, not gonna be the greatest grow known to mankind but i must say im pretty proud of how things are turning out for my first grow. Regards

They've grown alot, looks like the main cola will be pretty big!
Good news and bad news... So, two out of three plants turned out to be super healthy males wich is the bad news. Cali orange number 1 ( the on in the middle on all pics ) turned out to be the only female and is now currently flowering and i can see plenty of white hairs poking out the node sights wich is atleast one plus side. Looking forward to how things are going to turn out, wont expect anything major but well see. Next go round is going to be Cookies Kush and Malana Bomb Auto from Barneys Farm, things will be different then, but going to finish this baby first.

How much heat does LED give? I started using cfl (whack imho) then went onto 600w hps (way too hot bright for my needs)

I'm on a 250hps and its serving me well I'm just worried about how good it'll be for my buds.

Also is LED cheaper to run then hps?
I run 2 leds, 300 watts and 800 watts. Very little heat, and they all have internal fans. They are considerably cheaper to run.

I have 600's. With this grow (2 Plants) i only vegged under one 600 LED @18" above the canopy and then switched to 2 600's for flower (1 600 Per plant). I kept both 600's 18" above the canopy for the stretch(Moved them up as plants stretched) and after they stopped stretching i keep them about 12" above the canopy. I am now vegging my next plants under 8 T5's for a faster flip to flower. I am now running a cabinet for veg and a separate tent for flower.
I have been using the 600 for Veg and I gotta say, my plants seem to really love it! Nice lush growth EVERY fucking day. I'm just curious though, how much more light could I possibly feed these bad larry's? I have that 600 in a 2x2x5 tent, I see that there is enough room to add one more 600 if I wanted to but would it even do anything or is the 600 enough for vegging? I'm just curious if adding another 600 would make them grow even faster or is their a point where it's just pointless. I can fit 4, 3 gallon pots.

The more light the merrier. I have a 2.5×4×5 tent and run two 600's in it. The extra light does add some more heat to your tent so a little more air flow fixes that. The foot print of these lights is about 2.5×1.5 for veg i believe. Last run i got about 6ozs off of 2 plants that i just topped a couple of times with minimal training. Currently i am doing a scrog with sour diesel to see if i can achieve more with 2 plants with more training.

This is just 9 days difference. Obviously HPS is beating the hell out of that crappy 300w LED. I have no doubt that if I was still using the LED I would not see this much growth
I tried a 300 watt mars hydro a year and a half ago and my150 watt 2G11 CFL outperformed it so if you could control the heat an HPS/MH combo should easily beat any of those cheap chinese LEDs.the new high pressure MH (CMH) bulbs look impressive if you can keep your grow room cool

looks like you are already running 75 watts per sq foot actual power. don't think more power would produce much of an increase in growth

Gotta grow journal? Would like to follow. For my flowering tent I have a 2.5x2x7 Gorilla tent and i have 2 Mars II 400's in there. The quality of those seemed better than the 600's but now I feel like I should stick the 600's (if i order the second one that is) in the flowering tent and put the two Mars II 400's in the veggie tent. But I really think the Mars II's are better though. They even have IR diodes that help flowering and have more reds when you turn the bloom button on.

Not TOO surprised by this. A 300 doesn't pull much from the wall, most people who use a 300 I usually rec getting a second one.

Yep i do. My Last HSO Blue Dream grow is there from start to finish and my latest grow which i am doing my 1st scrog with NYC Sour Diesel. Your welcome to take a look.

0.29GPW.I thought LEDS were suppose to give you 1.5 GPW. CFL growers are doing 0,56-0.8 GPW. I am far from being an expert grower. more like barely average but i'm pulling 0.7 GPW with T5s.,seems like you have serious problems that no amount of lighting will fix

unfortunately my second problem with that light is that it started losing diodes after only 2 weeks. but the end of that test grow it had lost 7 diodes. not going to waste any more money on cheap chinese grow lights.atleast my T5s are reliable."if it ain't broke then don't fix it"

1.5 gpw lol. Not for me or many growers using any of the "top" lighting. Maybe with cobs because of thier efficiency. And by the way i did minimal training and it was my 1st led grow with the Mars. Sorry im not up to your standards for my yeilds but i enjoy growing and will only get better with time. Btw i am not bashing on anyones lighting at at all unlike most people that seem to hate leds. I think to all to thier own. And environment and strain all can make up a growers yeilds no matter what lighting they have.

I have too invested in a 8 bulb 2' T5HO fixture with 4 6500k bulbs and 4 3000k bulb for a mixed spectrum that i am in the process of starting a Blueberry strain under. As for when and if my 600's fail i plan to do a diy cob build out of them using Cree cxb3590's. The Mars led units convert very easily to a cob setup. So i am very open to new things when it comes to grow lights.

Been using mine for months and still have no problems. I have actually had a giant carbon filter fall on the unit twice now cuz I suck balls at mounting the god damn thing and I STILL have not lost any diodes. I check 'em weekly just cuz I have heard bad things about these things but so far they've been chugging along and they do offer a 2 year warranty...customer service seems pretty legit too, idk, so far, for the money, I just can't complain, I've spent a total of 350 and have 3 LED panels and in both tents I have fat donkey dick colas and lush growth in my veggie tent. If these are supposed to be "crappy lights", I fuckin' wonder what the good shit does! Gonna get into some Cree CXB's once these crap out. Perfect for getting your feet wet if you ask me. When I was first buying everythign I needed for my grow it was quite daunting to see LED's going for 700 plus dollars. Ya know?

Btw how many plants are you running under the T5 setup you are running? Pretty sure that makes a difference too. If i grew more plants to maximize my lights foot print or did more in the means of training im sure "GPW" would change wouldnt it??
