Nice old school gangster grow. Big MH bulbs, no aircooling in a nice cool basement. I dig it. You must have vegged for a while.

How come you didn't hang the bulbs vertically?

Great looking ,Them baby are super nice.Post moer pics later,I`ll keep wacthing.

What fert. are you using????:bigjoint:

Thanks, I've been growing in this basement for many years.

I looked for 18 months to find this house, 15 years ago. This house has paid for itself several times over!;-)

Those are horozontal bulbs.

These plants vegged for 2 months in my veg room before they were transfered into the 15gal pots & moved into the flowering room. I have another 12ea three footer's waiting in the wings.

I'm using MAXSEA fertilizer, both the 16-16-16 & the 3-20-20, works great.

I average 6-8 oz per plant.

Peace

Wow amazing grow have you ever tried this set up with mylar, reflective hoods, co2 or any fancy shit? What medium brand are you using in your pots? are you using smart pots?

Who needs all of that Fancy stuff?

I've read all of the posts here with such elaborate grow set-ups. Very amusing!

Give me a couple of bulbs & some dirt! :-P

I like to keep it as simple as possible, as you can see.

I use a 50/50 dirt mix of Ocean Forest & Happy Frog. I add a little dolomite & some bat guano, and stand back!;-)

People go to such lengths to make it complicated!

Peace

Yeah for sure its nice to see someone keeping it simple and still having great results. Keep up the good work. Keep us posted on how the grow goes. I will stick around and watch. Good luck.

Sorry for the delayed response, I've been dealing with a family crisis.

I was blessed to find this house, it's very unique.

It's an old farm house built in 1920. Back when it was built they used wood to heat/cook.

The wood stove & cook stove are long gone, but the 'chimney' still remains.

The only use now for the chimney was to vent my water heater in the basement.

I just tapped into the chimney with a 10" flexible vent pipe. The chimney goes from the basement up thru 2 floors. You wouldn't believe the draft!

I'm able to keep the temps inside the 'acceptable' range!

Here's a few update pics.

Peace
doublejj
P.S. I'll be sure to post some final harvest pics.

I have been wanting to try a sub cool method of the soil in the pots. I want to experiment with the bottom layer of the pot fox farm ocean, and the top 3/4 soil happy frog and see how they do.

Hello JJ
Nice set-up you got there. I luv the three footers in the wings waiting their turn. You got to luv those old school homes. They just don't build them like that any more.
Do you grow 12 trees due to your plant limits? Between your 3 footers and the clones you must be near 40?
Helping my bubby build the JJ carport/ greenhouse this season. You are the model we are following. Another great idea ripped off......LOL.....from reading your past posts i'm sure you would come help us put this bitch up if we needed it, but I think we got it.
I enjoy reading your threads, always something to learn.
Take Care
