yeah not much height room there and with all them watts you must have good air circulation
I've got a 6" high output fan blowing through the hoods and a 6" inline boosting it on the output side. I then have two oscillating fans set at the canopy height moving air across the plants. Then I have a small 6" oscillating fan set below the tubes blowing air up through the plants. I move a lot of air, but sometimes it's just bare enough.

Okay, a few pics. Two are of the system, the damn thing works like a charm! The other three are of some of the buds I pulled this past grow, as I said, it works!

Enjoy the pics!!!

The actual growing space is 5' x 10' so it's 50 sf.

I have 3- 1000w hps which put out approx. 140,000 lumens each, that's a total of 420,000 lumens in 50 sf which comes down to 8400 lumens /sf, it's damn near as bright as the sun in there!

The pump is on 24/7, but once the roots hit the bottom of the tubes and have developed a good enough mass to hold moisture I'll switch to 15 min on, 30 min off.

The tubes are 6" pvc with 1 1/4" pvc feeder tube inside the 6" delivering the water to the roots through 1/8" holes drilled and aimed at the net pots. Once roots have been developed I will turn the spray down at a 45 deg angle.

The roots have been no problem to speak of. The worst is when The roots follow the drain tubes all the way back into the res, and they are a bit tough to clean out after the grow is finished.
