In the UK if they search under a different section of law but find something else in this case a grow. They would then just charge you will the cultivation of a class C drug regardless of what the initial search was for. It can be used in court and lets me fair they have the physical evidence and only certain amount of playing dumb you can do. I know the law but on how to get out of it would need a solicitor.

if i were you id just hand myself in, i wouldnt fancy walking around knowing i could be picked up at any time. if you havnt been done b4 you might be alright, every man and his granny is growing in the uk.
also your mates an idiot for drink driving, smoking weed is much safer.

took everything, left a leaflet informing occupier a search had been carried out. no mention of cannabis.

UK isn't ODD; it's smarter. It's NOT wasting money on throwing harmless people in jail; it's not wasting valuable police resources at the tax payers expense.
its cost 47,000 to jail someone a year and that's all going towards a COMPANY! For PROFIT!

fyi in my state i can be caught cultivating with up to 50 lbs and get probation. i can be caught with up to an oz on my person and get a 100 dollar fine WITHOUT consequence if i choose not to pay. there are 50 separate states in the us and when you make such broad incorrect statements about "what goes on here" you're not contributing anything useful. wtf does any of your anti-american propaganda have to do with helping the op?

so tell me then, mr. genius, what would the great uk do to the op if he did like the note said and turned himself in?

Sounds to me like they are waiting for the plants to actually have some weight to them. An arrest for a bunch of tiny plants isn't as impressive as busting a grow right before harvest. It makes for better pics in the press.

it gets weirder, they posted another note thru my neighbours door yesterday, i was in at home and the didnt even knock? same note again...'please tell occupant of next door to collect keys from police station' they have never actually asked me to go down for interview or even mentioned the plants and equip they took and i dont need my keys off them because i already changed tho lock myself. might just go down monday, gonna have a chat with my solicitor.

Chat with your solicitor and go voluntarily down the station and WITH him as soon as you can and just be like hi I have this note I come to collect my keys. See how pans out. Don't mention anything about plants etc till they do. They may just interview u when turn up and street bail. They wouldn't knock at your house coz would assume your not stupid enough to go back after seeing the note.

they rang my solicitor this morning, they want me to go to the station tomorrow for a interview said if i go voluntary i wont be arrested, solicitor thinks i may get away with a caution, il keep you posted

went to the station, received a caution, cant belive it tbh think it worked in my favour just being honest and also having a business so i obvs wasnt just living off grown money. result!


jus gutted my grow days are over, was just getting it to perfection aswell

Sometimes have to look at the bigger picture. Technically it all DID work out. Told ya prob call just for an interview and not arrest ;) Caution not bad my friend. You could grow again if you done it on a smaller scale and if A) ever move house or B) dont have dumb arse people give your address.
