Question so I have 4 Jack Herrer autos and 2 of them are now showing preflowers one I started skittle later sinus still in veg but the last one seems different. This may be dumb question but can autos be males? As a total noob I just assumed they'd all be females. Thanks in advanceOk no problem. I would say, after looking at the auto flowering offerings on Herbies Seeds that there are no "Super auto's" available which included JH in the name of the strains. SO....be patient. It will flower when the time comes, they are all a touch different. If you can be SURE it was not an original JH (Photo-period sensitive), that is...
Hope this was helpful. Please post when she shows pre-flowers!
Peace, Go Slow....
I'm getting ready to switch out y metal halide bulb for HPS and I'm wondering if I should give my girls a 24-48 dark period then turn in the HPS? When growing regular plants as opposed to autos I usually do that to let them know Hey it's time to flower. I know autos are different so I'm wondering if it's a good idea or a waste of 2 days of productivity.OK...sorry I should have been more specific. What seed company were they from? Is it a Jack H cross (other than a ruderaslis, which is where the auto trait comes from). So...Specific Company and NAME of strain...? To give you some info it MOST likely will start pre-flower before 5 weeks...but that depends on if it is a regular (lowrider-type), or a "Super-Auto" type...
Just swap the bulb and carry on ......I'm getting ready to switch out y metal halide bulb for HPS and I'm wondering if I should give my girls a 24-48 dark period then turn in the HPS? No worries. So you grow your autos outdoor then? I was reading a thread and someone was saying autos are less potent then regular do you find that to be true? Also I know they won't yield as much as a regular plant but what kinda yield are we talking per plant wise? As always thanks for the response
