3 Strains in a Tub

Welcome everyone.

I had a few plants laying around that I had cloned so I could keep those strains going, but I started more seeds and simply can't keep all of them going.

So I decided to throw 3 of them into flower. They have been vegging for quite awhile past the point where they would have normally been moved to their larger 7gal final homes.

I had an old shotgun fruiting chamber laying around from when I got into growing shrooms.

I put a couple inches of hydroton on the bottom.

Then a layer of smart pot material I had left over from an old experiment where I melded 2 smartpots.

Covered the bottom with Pro-Mix HP and about a gallon of sub's supersoil recipe.

Added 1/4 cup of lime 4 times for a total of 1 cup of dolomte lime.

Now for the stars of the grow! Keep in mind they were in tiny little pots for way too long.

On the left is Sweet Deep Grapefruit, Acid in the middle, and Powerkush on the right.

They went straight into flower. I've never shot anything small right into flower before, so this should be intersting.

I fed them an aggressive feeding of Jack's Classic 20-20-20 to get them going and plan to use Jack's for the rest of the grow.

Feel free to leave your comments or feedback for me to learn from.

I realised today as I saw roots reachinig the sides of the tub that I needed to darken the sides for the roots. I hung a couple trash bags loosely around it, that should work fine. Should be cool I can peel it back and check out the roots.

Day 18 of flower. Many bud sites are forming nicely on all 3 plants. No signs of stress. This is my first time using Jack's Classic nutes and so far it's great.

I aplologize for the sloppy and lazy camera work.

Lots of sites!

I love this shot. I kinda always envied hydro guys with their root shots. Beautiful!

I like yer grow style...KISS..less stuff to go wrong...Jacks classic ferts is an excellent choice too btw. You might wanna consider removing the crate and put em on a couple 2x4s instead...and do a little lst on em...youll be able to drop the lights down lower, better light coverage and more yield...looking great so far though!

Thanks for stopping by!

I'm moving in a month or so and plan to have to move this tub. For this reason, I don't want to spread it out or it wont fit through the doors.:-P

Day 26 of Flower

These plants are just covered in bud sites. If time is not critcal, there may be something to trying to grow them like this, by which I mean a way long veg in a 1 gal smart-pot before up-potting.

I am very impressed with Jack's Classic nutes so far. These plants look great!

Not even a burnt leaf tip on these ladies, nice work!.
Thanks man! Nothing but RO water with 1/4 tsp of Jack's Classic, no ph adjustment, comes out at about 6.1ph.

This $9.00 tub of JC is going to last a long time...very cost efficient stuff.
