The OG did turn out bomb. its still curing, still getting the smell back...but looks good, tastes good, and what a high. seriously, puts me out like a light. good for insomnia. If I learned anything from this grow, its to wait...and when you can wait anymore, wait a little longer. yeah the SSH is huge...my closet it only 5 1/2ft tall, and there is lights to deduct from the height, and the plants are damn near 6', i had to bend them all at 45 degree angles to make them fit and still get the light. I fucked up alot of tops trying to "super crop" to keep the tops from touching glass. a few broke off...whackness. Still going to be a sizable harvest. It stinks so fucking good though! I did some stringing up of buds and for an hr i was sniffing the stench on my fingers like it was the first time i fingered a pussy! anyways, high hopes. hope this bitch fills in... thanks for the comments :)

What are you using for your OG grow for nutes? hydro or soil? lights?

Super silver haze is (25%)Skunk #1 x (25%)Northern Lights #5 x a strong (50%)Haze. It has won several Cannabis Cup Awards (97-99) What a lot of people don't know, SSH is the same thing as Jack Herer. :leaf:

Sounds good. growing CFL style? Im interested in how that bud turns out. Make sure you keep those lights as close as you possibly can. especially during flower. do you plan on upgrading to HID eventually or are you just nervous about the electricity issue?


O yeah, i found out I have thrips. Some of my veg. plants looked wierd, so i checke them and found a decent amout of thrips. I had put one of those plants into flower a week before, so i immidiatly checked my flower room. the plant did have a few on it, but i think i keep the flower to cold for them. its always between 65-75. somtimes a little colder at night, not below 60 though. but the thrips like to feed on soft tissue, my SSH is far along, and very woody with no real new growth. plus i dare them to try to crawl on my buds, they will stick to it, lol. i dont think they are interested in my SSH as i couldnt find any signs of them, discolored leaves etc. After this harvest, im going to completeltly start over. take everything out, clean the crap out of it. Buy some good clones, grow hydro this time. Im going to be getting some good clones from a club, make sure no bugs, and grow hyro. I got my taxes back, now i can get some of the things that were holding me back. Ph meter, tds/ppm meter. pumps and whatnot. more nutes.
anyways, i hate thips. they piss me off...then i smoke a bowl and feel a little better, lol :joint:

Yeh I have limited electricity. I would love to have an hps but then I have a whole new set of problems.

I should have just started with autoflower strains...\

Have you seen the 105w CFL ("= to 400w hps") they sell them on 1000bulbs.com for $25.00. I have some for veg, the lightbulb is huge. Does a good job, at least for veg.

ok, yeah i know i slacked off a little in posting pics. just been kinda busy. getting ready to switch over to hydro. I decided to take all the plants/clones i have in the veg room and trash them as they are severly damaged by thrips. I dont want them to spread to my flower room, so I threw them out. I want to start over with hydro anyways. I am going to be makeing my own DWC system, with a cloner. 8-10 plants. im trying to get my hands on some skywalker og since i have some OG grow expierience and know it to be a great weed. anyways....SSH. we are currently at day 88, or about 12.5 weeks. I Flushed them all 4 days ago. only water since then, except i gave them all a tsp. of mollasses the last gallon each. I had a smaller SSH in there that was finished, so i harvested her tonight. I going to try a different curing method this time. I know everyone is going to be like OMG YOUR GOING TO GET MOLD!, but i have heard of a couple people doing this so im going to try it on this small plant. probably only get a oz. off it anyways. so what i did is put the weed in the jar right away. i have it open for tonight, but tommorrow, im going to seal it for 3-4 hrs, then open it for an hour or so, then seal it for another 3-4 hrs. then before i go to work, ill leave it open. then seal it when i return. Etc, until it is dry enough to leave in without worrying about mold. just an expierment and not the whole cropload. :P if you have had expiereince, share please.

Looks like that SSH is filling in nice!! Awesome!

My buddy won a plant in a game of pool and it is already like 3-4 weeks in to flower it looks like! Ice cream is the strain.

yeah it is filling in, gettin chuncky! there are still some colas that still look kinda stretchy. hope they fill out as much. we will see. things are looking good though, cant complain too much. no bud rot on the new bud if anyone was wondering. and still smells good which is different than past harvests. it usualy smells of fresh cut grass at this point.


Is that the plant?

I know i haven't posted in a minute, but not much changed until the last couple days. I did harvest one more plant, but the other two aren't done. maybe another week and a half. the bud looks good though. i like my curing method better now. the smell stays with it, and the buds are more of what i want, that perfect balance between dry, but firm and sticky. :bigjoint: the high is good. good for day time smoking. i like more of a heavy sleepy high because of my insomnia, but others in my circle prefer this high. to each their own. so heres a couple pics of the bud i got and some of the ones still in the closet.

to make up for posting late, i'm posting early. i was cutting some nugs that were done down, and this is what i got. nice pics. this is some done weed. unfortunately,:wall: there is still some of the last 2 plants that are not done....i'm about to say fuck it. i cant wait much longer to start my new grow. its setting me way back. we'll see.
anyways, enjoy scopin ma' bitches' out.let the bud porn commence. O if you have some glamour shots you wanna show off, id love to see them. espeacially of other OG KUSH or SSH grows.:weed:

o, i guess no takers on that one...
Well i finally cut the last of the SSH down this last Sat. the 5th, which would make it...112 days, or 16 wees, 4 months...AND IT STILL COULD HAVE GONE LONGER!! seriously, im a little ashamed to admit it, but i felt no remorse cutting this one down lol.
Ok so...heres some pics, you can see the tops still have alot of white hairs, and dont look very swelled. Seriously, i harvested 3 plants over like a month. i harvested about 1 lb altogether with OG. not bad.
So yeah, AN rocks. I grew a lot more than with FF, and the stuff is stanky as hell. my neighbor mentioned he smelled marijuana a few weeks back :obut nothing came of it yet...SO yea i reccomend AN Conni. The bud looked amazing. I guess Mike isnt full of it.:blsmoke:
Next im growing DWC, got it all set up, ordered some Cinderella 99 clones, setting up a SCROG. Ill post a link from here when i get it all going.

i am growing 1 ssh under a 600w now, ten weeks in and i think she has got another six to go, well christmas day should be fun..
