So I have a 400w setup and can fit about 4, maybe 5, 5gallon pots for an LST grow. The problem is, I have 10 OG kush clones, would i be able to fit 10 LST'd plants in 3 gallon pots with my setup?

just grow half your seeds for now, 5 good plants done LST will overgrow a 400w in no time, so just grow fewer and get bigger crop off of each, im finally adding a 600w HPS to 400w MH 3200k, so trust me conserve your seeds, and if you have a baby boy collect the pollen and let me have some

Look into scogging. You'll get more yield then only LSTing. I would squeeze 10 clones under that light. I probably wouldn't let them veg for that long though. I'd go with the 3gallon pots for 10. 5gal pots are usually 1foot diameter, you could only squeeze 4-6 under a 400. Your working with a 2.5x2.5 space with a 400. Maybe even 2x2 if its a low quality lamp.

3,000lumens per plant minimum, but that pretty much only guarantees you 1oz ea plant(for advanced growers). You decide.
