Hello. I plan on having five,600 watt HPS supplying the light for the 120" by 40" space that I have.. This isnt the entire space just the space set aside to have and another to be able to maintain the area as well.. I want to have plenty of light being I will be using co2 and sog with super cropping.. The ballasts will be Lumateks. Or do you think I should just use four lights.. I know alot of people would probably only use 3 or possibly for but Im not trying to get the most growing space Im trying to get the best lumen for my space. I just dont want to hermi the colas with to much light.. Or just four on a light mover?? Any other minds to bang some ideas off of??

That's about 8100 lumens / sq foot aka foot candles at maximum. You might have some hot spots in there, so I suppose light movers would be best. And definitely adequate cooling...

I will be using Medium Adjust A wing Reflectors with the Super Spreaders. They do an awesome job with the Hot spots.I dont think that there is a light mover that can move five lights in a line?Do you think 8100 lumens per square foot is good?

unless i caculated wrong thats only 33.33 sq ft. 5 600w hps(95000 lumens ea.) would be 14251 lumens/sq ft thats too much. get 5 400w(55000 lumens ea.) hps instead with 8250 lumens/sq ft which is more then enough.

I have right around 45 square feet. Using 4 600 watt lights i will get right around 7700 lumens per square foot.. Is that a good amount or should I go with another light setup like (600-600-400-600-600)
I dont think there is a light mover that will move four lights in a straight line though.. I know there are ones that do three but not four..Do I want to move three lights and have one stationary..As far as be being OCD...Any opinions

if you use an even number of 600w lumatek's you can use the dual ballasts, its one ballast for two lights, OR you can use a flip flopper, it would be two grow rooms on opposite schedules but 4 ballasts will run 8 lights. 4 and 4 on opposite schedules.

Yeah I thought about that as well but I only want one flowering room to maintain...Eventually I will go to a setup like that
