I have a total of 40 plants. About 25 of the 40 are really healthy and robust.

Should I take these plants and place them in the best positions under the lights?

why not rotate the smaller ones uder the lights to get them all closer to the same size?

Unless you plan on thinning out the weaker growing plants....I would do as stated above.

What kind and how many lights you using for 40 plants?

Pics?

The main light is a sun systems new wave 48 with 8 54 watt t5's. I just bought a Sun System Bright wing with a 150 watt Eco Plus flourecent to supplement the main light. I have a 4x4 ebb and flow tray. I have a smaller 2 tube 24 watt flourecent i'm also using but there's some. The Sun System Bright wing will be used for my mothers down the road and the other light is for my cloning station.

I just took these photos tonight.

Damned nice setup.

Im sure you have some brighter spots on the tray using different lights to cover the whole thing.

Yeah...just move the smaller ones to the brighter spots until they catch up.

When you flower...will they all be in that same tray? Its gonna get cramped in there.

What strain? Healthy looking grow so far.

Thanks for the feedback:razz:

I've been making little changes every day to get to this point. This is my 1st time growing. I must say that I'm spending a lot more time than I thought maintaining this.

I'm growing for my sister who can't get licensed. She had a baby who has severe problems and has nurses in her house 24 hrs a day. She was a little nutty before the baby and is out of control now. The only thing that mellows her out is smoking pot. The doctors give her all sorts of meds to mellow her but they make her crazy and are very addictive.

The room your looking at will be my flowering room. The veg station will move into my master closet with my mothers and scale down to 3x3 tray with my 8 lamp t5s running it. I will be veging 12 to 18 plants and start flowering 12 to 18 plants every month to break up some of the work load.

I could really use some advice for the flowering room. I would really like to use 3 600 watt HPS with digital ballast, but everyone keeps telling me to use 2 1000 watt lights. I will be flowering in an 8x5 area. What do you think?

I think I will get better coverage and have the lights closer to the plants with 3 600 watt lights. I will also save some money on electricity, which is a big plus.

Thanks again for your feedback:hump:

IMO....Since the area you need to cover isnt that big....I'd go with the 1000's. If the area was a bit larger maybe the 3 600's could be spread the light a bit more.

Its a matter of covering area...or getting better light penetration to the lower portions of your plants. I like the better light penetration myself.....Which is what you'll get with the 1000's.

But Im sure two minutes from now someone will come and say the opposite. But thats JMO.

And man....You are a really good brother to have....I cant get mine to even walk my dog for me. Im sure your sis appreciates your efforts. I hope it all works out and she gets what she needs.
