2nd time around - ready to filp, should i clean the bottom up?

I had a lot of success on my first grow. I put 3 plants from seed to weed and it turned out great. This time I'm trying to refine the process and I'm focusing on one plant. Here I'm taking better use of the trellis netting.

My question is: should I remove everything below the top line?

Thanks

looking good - you can defoliate under the canopy for sure, most would call it lollipopping - which would amount to stripping anything underneath the top canopy, essentially leaving only the main colas to flower - generally a rule a thumb is to make sure that there is no light penetrating through the canopy onto the soil/floor because you could see it at 'lost' light. You also don't necessarily need to do a full strip, but you'll end up with larf.

I'd give it a week after you defoliate the undercarriage before you flip, give her time to recover before the next stressor.

Thanks a lot for the detailed reply and encouragement!
