2nd grow same problem!!

Hey guys, so this is my second indoor grow. I can not for the love of me find out what I'm doing wrong. Im growing auto seeds from growers choice seeds in 5 gallon smart pots in ffof. Ph is 6.5, humidity is 65 usually, temps get in the mid 80s during the day, only used tiger bloom at 1/4 strength a few times during flower but stopped after seeing my leaves burn. My light source is a 300 roleandro led. The first grow my leaves burnt the same exact way. I moved the light up to 23 inches but the burns look the same and are getting worse. The first harvest was very airy also. Read that it could be lack of nutes or light source to far away, but confused because I thought there was light burn. My tent is only 63 inches in height, I really can't move the light any higher. Does this look like a light burns? Or is this some deficiency?

Yes...I'd do a whole gallon, the pot would only take maybe half of the water before runoff. I didn't let it build up
That's because it's a softpot. They dont allow the water to really get to the dirt before the cloth sides leak it out.
My hard pots I'll add a gallon of water, wait a couple min and add another gallon of water and still dont really get runoff. Anything over 2 gallons runs out however.

I can almost assure you, u need more light.. 140 from the wall it’s a must or the buds will certainly be airy..give it 18-20 inches at best.. get another if u can and slap them together especially during flowering.. I would start with 1/8 the soil goes along way.. also I would not water till run off until I got the pots weight up..man trust me i been through this with the same set up in a 3x3. When I read this I promise you it sounded like me..lst as usual don’t top it take to much time to recover...real shit

I went through this with some critical purple from gcs I figured it out after realizing the wattage of the light and the fact that in flower they need more light. I got a fast bud cream cookie auto, thought about the mistakes I made. Started reading and studying.. said fuck it bought another light 280-285 says the p3 at the wall 3x3. I began to learn how to water the plant slowly. I got a probe meter to help monitor the water level all while lifting the pot at times wet moist dry. In a regular pot with extra drain holes... just seems like my plants sip better when poured slowly. Ph is important I keep it around 6.2-6.6 .. I started mixing my nutes then checking my ph, if it was in range I didn’t bother adding a thing. I checked the run off and it was ok.. I’m good.
I know this light may not be the best. But when I got 2 during flowering thing got better. B512F842-0343-4AF3-A26B-7EA8D4125F62.jpeg Also strain may have something to do with it but idk

FWIW, this is a WW in which I approved upon the buds are rock solid and frosty asf..

Thanks man, when you run 2 light should I raise them or keep them both around 18 inches? I heard more light more height

I have three 75 watt cree cobs, and i lowered them to ~24 and burnt my plants. Depends, but 30 inches is really the best if you got the light power.

For the most part I kept the light from 18 -24 inches 2 things I saw; a guy on you tube has 2 galaxy 300 vs 2 Or 3 cobs and growweedeasy.com show a test of these lights with an auto.. check those out..

I added perlite..ewc.. and bat g. A touch of Dolomite lime. I stop leaching all my nutes out and let the plant tell me things..

At times I tried to replicate the great outdoors fi.. the sun is not always gleaming on a plant hence overcast.. so I raise the light some days back to normal others. The lst would tell me the plant was getting light because it would reach back..,at that point I assumed I was ok.. sweet spot they call it..does it not rain on an out door plant.. foliage feeding my thought carefully..

When I saw pistils I waited 2 weeks then went bloom fert with bat guano sprinkled on soil and mixed in. Toward mid I started pk booster 1/8 up to half tsp and distilled water with the calcium treatments between the bloom and pk boosters. When I felt I overly did it I would leach it...the worst thing I ever did was over love and water the dang plant.. that caused more problems under that light ...roots staying soggy..in a 3x3 with 4 inch vent fan passive intake on low, Fan blowing under light the lights never got hot...man there you go.

One more trick, these a thread on here call 5x5 set up.. look at the regular led bulbs from nearly any department store.. find you some 15 - 20 watt bulbs.. find some diy in within yourself and be creative and place these each bulbs for a tad more penetration.. different kelvin works best...with 9 watt bulbs I added a few towards the end of flowering idk if it’s actually helping but it’s surely not hurting it..

For everyone preaching about flushing or watering to ridiculous runoffs, and the likes, when you only fed this, there is your answer! What you are seeing is a calcium and possibly magnesium issue. Being how late you are at this stage, alot of the yellowing by now is also natural, the plant is getting to the end of it's cycle, but the calcium issue that was present, those burnt little patches high up, are either caused by reduced amounts in your medium, or not watering with enough water/frequency. Tiger Bloom has an incredibly low amount of calcium (not even listed on the bottle), and mag is usually not enough either.

Maybe nothing to do with the answer you're looking for but those small white spots on your leaves make me think you might have an issue with spider-mites, which of course would cause damage to your leaves.

So your thinking this is not light burn but can mag issues that started at a young age?

Absolutely no chance that this has to do with light burn! The only way to tell when issues started and how it progressed, would be with pics leading up to this. Light burn would bleach/yellow your leaves in a uniform manner at its closest point to the light. This is not even or uniform bleaching, its not even bleaching:)

Isnt tiger bloom 1 part of a trio? As in you use grow and bloom and tiger at same ratio for most of flowering.

Edit, its not same ratio but close.

You are adjusting the pH after you add nutes right?

Ok, the veg phase goes near perfect, no yellowing or brown spots. It all changes during flower, I figured the flowering stretch gets the girls to closeto the light, I always wondered how all these growers ate growing with multiple 300 watt leds or even bigger in a small tent without burning the plants, guess I was wrong about the burn, thanks

They were fine through veg because maybe your ffof was adequate for that stage. Once you approach flower, and then mid-flower..the plants eat way more, and deficiencies will pop up much faster than in veg! Good luck in the future..remember, mistakes are necessary to truly learn! :)
