Topped them on the 20th of July.
Honestly should’ve waited about 2 weeks for roots to be more developed, but they will be fine. Growth is a little slower but They should bounce back in about a week. Next grow I won’t top so quick.
I’m also doing a little bit of lst here and there. Working on keeping it nice and short and bushy.
They look kinda funky but they’ll grow out of it lol.

Pics will be posted later today

OH NO I got a critter in the garden good thing it was only on one plant which was the homegrown bagseed I knew I had some sort of pest by the deformed leaves and little bite marks. I’m pretty sure it is fungus nats will get some Neem oil and or neem cake to treat my other plants so they don’t get affected. Other plants seem to be okay I will keep a close eye.

And it turns out I’ve seen it on all my plants soil not a lot though only seen 1-2 on the other but a decent amount on the home grow

Just bought some Dyna Grow neem oil, mixed it at the recommended dose and sprayed all my leaves and under the leaves, also sprayed the top soil. All of this was done as soon as the lights turned off.
It says I can also water the plants with it which i will do later today on one of the plants to see what happens.

Play sand and sticky traps are a nice partner to the Neem oil

Not really seeing gnats anymore but will still spray every other day or once a week with the neem soap mix. I used the same mix and diluted in more water and watered the plants with it I feel like it kinda effected one of the green cracks but idk of that was from the neem soap mix or just bug damage. Maybe something else idk but here’s some pics.

I really like how the Afghan is growing the stem is really thicc even on the lower branches.

This is what Im seeing after the neem and soap water. I’m thinking maybe ph fluctuation because I didn’t test the ph or nothing cause my pen broke. I got 2 free replacements though so I’m happy

They are doing alright, got rid of the homegrown was gonna be too much for this 2x4 tent.

There are some leaf discoloration which I think was from not ph’ing the water was just feeding straight tap for a couple days. My tap water has a average ph of about 8.6 and today I watered them at a ph of around 6.8. Hopefully they will look a little more healthier but they don’t look bad!

I haven’t seen any signs of fungus gnats around the plants, I gave to much water at once which left it damp for a couple days so I scaled down on the watering and they dissapeared.

Also made homemade sticky traps out of honey whiched worked pretty well.

I’m gonna work on the set up a bit and maybe thinking of transplanting to 3 gallon pots for their final home in a week or 2, and then I will set up a SCROG net.

Been lst’ing everyday trying to get the lower branches some light and will top probably one more time.

Looking much better man, all that dark green is normally nitrogen. Imo let them stretch their legs befor you top again

Here’s the SCROG I kinda just winged it no tutorial at all, I watched a video after and seen the individual squares are supposed to be tied together lol
I think I’m gonna have to tie them all individually with some more twine and I will be setting up a carbon filter cause they do have that stink.

I was hoping this day wouldn’t have came but this grow is coming to an end. I should definitely wait to move out to grow lol but I will be back. Don’t grow at your parents house. Getting rid of them out of respect don’t want them to get in trouble for the stuff I’m responsible for. Cheers I will be back in a year or two.

I shouldn't have been so quick to chop the green cracks by the stem, I still have the afghani#1, my grow room is going to be moved to the outside shed which I'm gonna have to work on a bit.

,I will try to get it worked on first thing tomorrow. My parents just don't want it in the house which I understand if this doesn't go as planned I will have another grow soon. I just can't help it I've already gotten so far and I don't wanna stop. Good luck to me lol

I’m back but just with the afgahni #1 chopped the green cracks honestly could’ve thrown them outside or gave it to a friend but it’s cool.

Really hoping this afghani #1 is female if not I might buy some auto flowers later on to run those instead.

The Afghani was just sitting near my window for a couple weeks then I decided that I would just setup my tent again and start going at it again.

It wasn’t looking to healthy at first because I kinda neglected it for a bit didn’t water at all but I knew it would bounce back quick which was like 2 days,
it was a very light green now it’s gotten darker and I fed it a compost tea today to get those microbes thriving again.
Also transplanting to a 5 gallon smart pot in a week cause I know those roots need room.

Reset the scrog net again not good looking but it’s better than the last scrog net I made and is more tight. Gets the job done!
And I’m still setting up my shed outside for a grow room should be nice!
