One method is on both the 1st and 21st day of flower, so i would say you might only wanna defoliate once in the next few days.

I haven’t been defoliating mine, so I can’t give you any more details than that. I’ve just heard so many mixed things about whether or not it’s worth it, I would only defoliate for better air flow if a plant was looking too thick. Also pulling big fan leaves to shed light on lower canopy, but the way I see it the less you need to remove the better.

Edit: I don’t SCROG mine either so with that plant structure it appears defoliation is very likely beneficial due to canopy thickness/possible airflow obstruction.

Plant has energy coming in from leaves as well as the ability to pull some nutrients from them in late flower. Just my thoughts, looking good so far, good luck!

Rule of thumb for the lollipopping - anything that is underneath your main canopy can be removed. Leaves, small sucker branches ... basically if it's being shielded from light by the main canopy, remove it early in Week 4 of flower.

Are you going to lolipop it more? curious looks like it's gonna strech more too. I've seen some insane lolipop where all the leaves are removed like now an and the buds just get fat, not sure about this strain, some just get big either way others make a lot of leaf when they they bud as part of the flower. The herb in my area is more fluffy less leave so you really just get pistal weight. I've noticed a lot of indica stuff (i don't like it) has a lot more leaf in the bud. I can understand in production sense, but quality really gets affected when crossing with indica, just not my cup of tea.

From the picture posted above it does look like there are more leaves and crap that is below the netting that can go. But with today being Day 35 of 12/12, I highly doubt that it's gonna stretch more.

The purpose of the lollipop is to remove the lower fan leaves, sucker branches and any LARFY shit that the plants can't make into fat bud due to those parts getting insufficient light.

I (think) what you are referring to is Leaf Stripping - a.k.a. SCHWAZZING - which removes most of the fan leaves just prior to going into 12/12.

i dunno know what’s the name of the technique but basically removing all the big leads and a n leave the bud sites. I was like where did the plant go! But I dunno I don’t have the balls to find out…

Schwazzing is the removal of almost all of the fan leaves, except for those at the top of the plant, just before they go into flower. The plants look totally barren going into 12/12 but it's supposed to help light get to the lower down. But after trying it, I won't recommend the schwazz. The plants yield better if you leave those fan leaves alone.

I gave her a good clean up under the net, wouldn't really say I lollipopped her but rather took off what I felt was not getting enough light or was gonna be a waste of energy for the lady. The buds are starting to swell a Lil. Looking more hybrid now than sativa dominant.
