2nd grow(Bigbang, Power skunk and bagseed)

After getting all the way through my first grow I decided to get some good seeds and use my new found green thumb to grow them.
I got the female indica/sativa mix from Greenhouse and some fem nemesis from seedsman seeds
Got a bunch of free seeds so I tried to germ those but outta the 6 I tried to germ only 3 cracked. I had no luck with the gigabud, The seed is still hard as a rock but it wont germ. I have been trying for a week on that one lol

Im veggin under T-5's with flouro grow lights and flowering under a 400w hps
I plan on veggin these ones for a little longer then the last to give a couple of my plants that are in flowering a chance to finish up and make room. So maybe about 6 weeks

Ok so I got 3 strains at the moment
1 Big bang
3 Power skunk
4 bagseed

I also have a clone from a superstar that was on my last grow in there doing great

I transplanted all the good seedlings into bags and moved things around a bit to make room for the others. I underestimated the amount of soil needed so I have to go grab another bag. But I wont be able to until friday, so the bagseed seedlings will have to wait
Every thing is going great and Ill post some pics up in the next few days :grin:

What kind of soil you using? I happily noticed that the hardware stores are starting to get i the spring stock. I am going hydro but some of the soil mixes out there are pretty f'n cool.

been using Gordons Gold Label Soil. its only 12.99 for a 30 quart bag. I think its colorado based. Its made of 25% worm casting so I just add about 20% perlite and its good to go. Because there is so much worm casting in there I dont have to feed them until I go into flowering

Im using 2 t5, 2 t12 and 2 42w CFL's for vegg and a 400w HPS for flowering

I transplanted the power skunks and the big bang into their new home on sunday(1-18 ). I have an odd power skunk plant that started with a 2 finger and 3 finger leave.. Kinda odd but no big deal
My seeds have been in the soil for 1 week now and heres how they look.

Since I have this thread going I thought I would post some pics of my flowering room in here as well. I still have 4 plant in there from my first grow. I put the one in the back right in flowering on 12-21
the one in the back left on 12-28 (had major PH issues right after moving to 12/12)
and the 2 in the front went in on 1-7
I was trying to stagger my plants so that I would be harvesting every few weeks but it just ends up making the feed schedule a pain in the ass. I burnt the 2 in the front because I fed them the wrong mix.. Oh well they recovered all right

Cleaned my rooms, made a carbon filter and transplanted 3 of my bag seed into their permanent home. It was a busy day yesterday.
I got a couple more emergency blankets and I ripped down some 1/4 white MDF for the floor. Makes it a little brighter in there but mainly protects the carpet from the moisture
7 plants total

My veg room in hanging out right at 78 degrees and 45% RH
My flowering room is 79 degrees at the canopy and 30% RH

My power skunks are kinda weird. One never grew a single finger leave. It started off with a 2 finger across from a 3 finger then the next node had a 4 finger across from a 3 finger lol

Lots of even numbered leaves on these power skunks. The big bang looks kinda droopy but its not really showing any symptoms other then that. Im sure its cool.
Oh and I got some flowering pics as well
Back right is at 35 DAYS of 12/12
back left is at 28 DAYS of 12/12
2 in front are at 18 Days of 12/12

Nice, I did not see your new journal till now. Beware, Power skunk does not stop growing when put to flower. Its as if its an auto flower strain. It keeps growing tall and straight up till its ready. I just topped two of the clones that are 3 weeks in flower cause there out growing the room. I put a clone in flowering at 4 inches tall. Its now 2 feet 3 inches and no bud of flowers yet!

So clone or flower them as low and small as possible. I'm not even sure if mine will even produce in my small space. I only have 3 feet to the light! So the belladonna is kicking ass. Its got tons of flower/bud growth at 5 inces tall!

Power skunk sucks for indoor. The nodes are far apart and should be grown outdoors. I might transfer them outside.......

Thats what I hear about the power skunks, I made sure I had room for a few 5 footers in the flower room but I plan on LSTing the hell outta those 2. Maybe Ill make a nice lae or necklace outta it

Im kinda scared to top them so I was going to experiment with my 3 bagseeds
Im going to put it into flowering a few weeks earlier then the other as well so that its done around the same time

got my carbon filter up and going. It does work very well
When I would first open my bedroom door in the morning I could always smell my ladies but now I dont smell anything until I open the closet :grin:

Everything is going pretty good. A slight mag def on a couple of the bagseed but the power skunks look great. Big bang is doing good, always kinda droopy lookin

all the bag seed started showing preflowers yesterday, Im pretty sure 2 outta the 3 of them are female but Ill know for sure in the next couple of days.
No sign on the Power Skunk but I dont think Ill see any preflowers from them for a couple more weeks.
As soon as I cut down the oldest 2 in flowering ill put the 3 bag seeds in and fill the room back up again :grin:

Power skunk can take 2-3 weeks to show sex. At least mine did. Hope all is well. At least ya got some females. Clone a few of them so you have more down.

sweet so mine should be showing any day now.

I made some room in the flowering room and put one of my ladies in there. My lighting set up in the veggy room works much better with 6 instead of 7 or 8

So I still have in my veggy room:
1 big bang(not lookin so hot, but better)
3 power skunks
2 bag seeds

In my flowering room I have all bag seed and all showed sex before going into 12/12:
"Big lady" at 45 days of 12/12 (vegged for 3.5 weeks) HAS SOME WEIRD SHIT GOING ON BUT ONLY HAS A FEW MORE WEEKS TILL CHOP CHOP SO IM NOT WORRYING TO MUCH ABOUT IT. SMELLS LIKE PINE
"Hashy" at 38 days (vegged for 4.5 weeks) HAD MAYOR PH PROBLEMS IN THE FIRST WEEK OF FLOWERING AND DIDNT STRETCH VERY MUCH AT ALL. SMELLS LIKE BLUE BERRIES
"Weirdo" at 28 days (vegged for 4 weeks) MINIMAL STRETCHING AND ALSO SMELLS VERY FRUITY
"New BG" at 28 days (vegged for 4 weeks) DOING GREAT ALL AROUND, CITRUS SMELL

Thanks bro, I wouldnt of done it without the help and support of all the friendly stoners on this sight. It is lookin very nice in there, I love to hang out in there and drink my coffee before work. My little zen garden lol.
I figure after I harvest one or two of those plants I can justify droppin a couple hundred more on my set up.
I need a good fan really bad for my light. The one I have is just a $24 in-line fan from home depot. Its great for venting the light but when I stuck my carbon filter on the exhaust it couldnt hang. So I dont have a carbon filter on at the moment
I cant say I mind the smell but Im in a condo so I have to be mindful of that crap.

I cant wait till I get a couple of trays full of little ones going. I am going to clone 2 from each plant before going into flowering but Im going to give them to my mom.
I plan on moving in april or may so I cant start anything else until I get to my new location. Thats why Im doing a bunch of plants this time. These harvests have to last me about 5 months(2 months to get into my new place and 3 months to grow)
So probably from june till october or november
