I have a 1.2 x 1.2 x 2m tent. The light i have is a QB HLG 550v1. I previously did 5 plants (4 plants in 26L fabric pots and 1 plant in 11L pot) Grew 1 strain. Grew in soil using biobizz. Was not too impressed with the potency but yeilded 450grams approx.

I would like to grow a variety this time. Having trouble to decide if i should go soil or hydro (dwc, flood and drain) Should i do 4, 5, 6 or 9 plants.

Would also like to know some reputable seed brands.. I was looking into devils harvest, dna genetics, reserva privada..

What nutes would you advise to look into..

For nutes I have always had excellent results from GH 3 Part. I am however going to try the Jacks 3-2-1 because it's a WHOLE lot cheaper and people seem to be getting great results. Why pay for water and food coloring?

Why not try coco and if you want variety 9 plants, I wouldn't run more than 9 in a 4x4 but I have preiously, 9 gives you lots of choices.
Nutrients, pick a simple one. I like canna personally but that's just me, there isn't much difference between them all.

Cant really help on the seeds, too many to pick from.

I have heard of GH.

Few that i have had recommended from hydro stores are Snoops, Canna and Advanced nutes... Was considering Canna tbh.. may consider GH too

Running 9 plants, 9 different strains how did you manage the harvesting at the same time.. due to different times each plant being ready.. this baffles me quite abit..

Canna is what i was leaning to try as i heard a friend use this and speak of great results..

Coco, hmm i did not actually think of this.. I may need to re-read into this. Have no knowledge on this.

They do like to sell the higher cost products. They don't even stock Jacks because they don't have that high markup fancy label. I wouldn't take their advice on anything. I have tried Advanced and was not impressed myself. Stuff wasn't cheap either. So I went back to GH. Checkout greengenes videos on youtube that guy does some stuff with Jacks thats totally on point. GH Cost me 978 bucks a run, with jacks it would be less than 60 bucks. Advanced cost more than GH but I didn't run the numbers because I have no intention of using it again.

Like a lot of growers, I have a collection of nutes going. I've tried a bunch and been mixing up crazy nutrient cocktails for ages as I got more experienced. But a lot of people do start to steer away from liquids eventually because you're paying so much for shipping water. I'm using Megacrop now and having good results - there's a thread on it going here on the forum. I also have some Dr Earth on the way to try in my upcoming coir grow. It's comparable to the Gaia Green that Mr Canuck uses - and if you haven't checked him out on youtube, it's worth a look. Amazing results with some very simple feeding techniques.

Well if you must get something liquid, I know you can get Canna there. I'm looking at a random hydro shop in the UK and see you can buy a pair of 1L bottles of both A and B for 13.99 and at 40ml of each per 10 L of water, that's what... 250 L of water you can mix up for that price. And that Canna is good for coco.
