Checking in here with my 2nd ever grow.
Day # 92 from seed, Day # 40 12/12
3'x3' Secret Jardin tent
2 x 65 Watt Hans Led
tga supersoil
Vortex fan with carbon filter.
cal mag (and lots of it)-->no mag deficiency this time
Temp 80-88 F and RH 50-55 %

The first JTR 5 pack I ordered from Attitude was destroyed by the US government. My fault for not doing stealth.
Got the 2nd 5 pack from Healing chakra dispensary in north San Diego. 3 females.
L back-JTR topped & LST'd
R front-JTR topped (Not sure why it looks the worst ? rootbound??)
center-JTR natural
The 818 Headband ( R back) was from bagseed.
Aurora Indica (L front) was the only feminized seed.

Looking good! IMO you could hang the panels closer to the canopy, or maybe it was just for the picture?
Hey Vlad, thanks for stopping by. Just did some quick measurements.

The plants are between 14-19 inches tall.
The lights are as high as they can go, and are 9 inches above the tallest bud (HB) and 14 inches above the shortest bud.
Throughout both grows, I have kept the light 10-13 inches above the plants.

Would lowering it a few inches actually affect the ultimate weight ?

Yes IMO ........wide primary diode angles with no secondary optics on a low wattage panel=== keep it as close as you can...

Looking good there. I run a Hans 85W as close as possible without burning tops. You could lower them a couple inches and see what happens, if there's no burning it's good. It's good to find that sweet spot.:weed:

Hi Out There, just a quick update. Thanks guys for stopping by and chiming in.
Day #104 from seed , Day # 52 12/12
I lowered the light a few inches about a week ago.
JTR's seemed to not mind the closer lights but I don't think I can say the same for the 818HB. Leaves crispy, droopy, and discolored. I guess it could be fading, either from running out good soil, or 'natural' but that would be a little early.
Raised the light above the HB to where it was before.

Update: Getting close
Day # 127 from seed, Day # 75 12/12

The bad: the 3rd JTR and the 818HB lost all their leaves, and I assume had the whole maturation process stopped as well. There are crystals in the buds, but the buds smell like straw and are on the brownish side. (Dried out as I have left them in their pots in the tent)

The good: JTR I and JTR II as well as the aurora indica are finishing up nicely and will be ready to cut down in 1-2 weeks, I think. I have looked with the jewelers loupe but only see clear trichomes, despite the outward signs of leaf fading. Will keep checking.

Do you have a scope? The indica is going 9+ weeks?!?!
Do not have a scope, but on the first grow I harvested the indicas on day #77, and I think it was still a little early. Was going to wait til day # 82 or so.
I will cut off a little bud (off the indica) to look better with the loupe.

OK, so all done.
Cut all the plants down over days 77-81.
Overall, not a home run like the first time.
We had a major heat wave in socal over the last 2 weeks, and the buds were drying in 40-45 % % RH and temps in the 90's.
I let them go too long, and they are all very dry now. The wettest, the JTR1, is struggling to maintain 52-53% RH in the jar.
(As a comparison, the Blue Mystic that was harvested in March still has a RH of 68 % in the jar)
According to the well respected post 'a perfect cure every time', if the RH is <55 % no curing takes place, and the buds will not shake the straw smell.
As a side note, the AI and especially the Blue Mystic from the first grow took pretty much 3 months to start to get the taste that I was looking for.

Total yield on the dry buds is 77 grams. (First grow was 120 + grams) [Guess that's what happens when you dry out all the moisture]
JTR1-28
JTR2-12
JTR3-5.5
AI-14
818HB-16.5

They all seem to have decent potency, but, despite being dry and on the brown side, the 818 HB lifts you instantly, and puts you in a totally different place than all the other buds.
I will drop the $20/a seed on the next, next grow to try again on the 818HB
Next grow already has broken soil, Barney Liberty Haze x2, Moneymaker x2, SSH x1, cannatonic x1--->all fem
