never grew outside before (well maybe when I was 16 but I had no idea what I was doin and thought if I smoked pot with them they would grow better)but If I were to I would ake the plant real wide like top it young and spend the new growth in oposit directions and plant it in on the south edge of a wooded area or an old fence row

Hey tuss, thats a great setup youve got going there say do you keep your clones in there with mothers til rooted and then under the 400? Thats a clever use of light.

I have a difrnt setup now but yes I run the clones in there until rooted. I actually run a 12" kitchen base cabinet now with 2 26w and I do all my cloning in there and 80 percent of my veg in there, the last 2 weeks veg is under a 400w hps. I always have 2 clones and 1 veging plant in there and one in flower. I take 2 clones from my vegging plant(3/4 gallon pot) I put my clones right into a 2" round pot similar to a party cup size. I use a clear plastic cup as a humidity dome upside down on top of the 2" pot. I use a cheap Shultz rooting powder and fill the cup with pro mix. once my flower room opens up I put my vegger in a 5 gallon pot, give it 2 weeks under the 400w hps to get used to its new home, and move the best clone to the 3/4 gallon then throw the other clone away or plant it out front of the court house under cover of darkness. it all seems to work out like a perfect little schedule although I may move up to a 7 gallon pot

it is mostly 1 plant, there is a clone in the back but thanks.....I use 2 26w now a days and I never run into stretch problems. I don't even keep my lights that close. like 8 inches away. no problems, might have something to do with using clones they don't stretch much at all, might be that after the seed cracks the plant is programed to stretch until it gets enough light then start growing so you need to get light close right away where with a clone we have already made it to the growth stage so it doesn't matter as much.... seems like a break through to me...
