I think the cup is cool as fuck. It tells me a lot. If you are convinced its rigged, then take the results out of the equation. I like to see who enters, and what they enter. I like to hear reports of what people say should have won, shit like that. There are always stories inside of the story. I love mj and I love business, this is great shit. Here's two examples for me. Rare Dankness going there and having top notch products against the best competition in the world tells me a lot. Subcool saying he can't enter because he can't handle losing also tells me a lot. Swerve, sharing one of his many booths with Rare Dankness, that made my seed collection all give each other fist bumps. Lots of stories, lots of strains.

dont get me wrong glad, i'm not bashing people for their curiosity, nor (some) the breeders for entering. i have my personal views on things and i find the cup hilarious. to each their own...peace

for years my amigos all had to get ahold of cup "winners". not a bad idea, considering all the marketing that went into a strain already which the grower may benefit from. to say that the cup winners are really all 'thee new best shit' would be to delude oneself. big money = corruption. still the cup looks like a blast. plenty can be learned, good times mostly...

Big money didn't win this year in the seed company categories... Look at the winners.. Soma didn't even place last year in any category, nor does he sponsor parties or anything at the cup. Haven't heard the coffee shop category though. That's the cup that is bought by big money.

I haven't run any rare dankness. all I have is hillbilly armor seeds currently. mostly a sativa fan, so maybe I'll try to hit GC3 to score RD sativa hybrid seeds, not necessarily going for cup-winners tho. that ghost-train has caught my attention. which sativa RD hybrids do you prefer?

I really like the karma bitch. Skywalker og x neville's wreck. I've seen great herb come from the moonshine haze packs. Ghost train #1 really does have that strong up high, but the flavor of the keeper I have smoked from moonshine wasn't my fav. It was the cut that tested at 25.49% thc though. I've heard the gth 1 keeper that gladstoned found is real nice smoke. I think there are gonna be a lot of good plants found in the tangerine trainwreck haze line as well. The tangerine haze used in that cross is awesome.

I have lots of Rare Dankness Sativas. Really looking forward to a nice Tangerine Sativa wake n' bake.

I had some Karma Bitch flowers from homeless. Couchlock's momma said it was some of her favorite yet.

JB @ TheSeedDepot told me last year that Midas is one of their favorites. He claims it is trickier strain to learn,
but swears it is well worth the effort.

I didn't watch the video, but there is a 5 gram limit in Amsterdam period. That is what is tolerated. A person can have 5g on them. The coffee shops can only sell 5g a day to each person that comes in.
