Ok so i sussed out a couple of 250W MH lamps and ballasts for cheap as shit. About $8 NZ each and thats about 4 or 5 something US. Another guy got some of them too and said that his plants were growing all good. So i set mine up with one shade with 2 bulbs (500W). But until i can get the ventelation sorted a bit better im only running 1. Anyway, I have 5 5 inch clones and 3 that are around 12 inchs. 2 of the big ones are off one plant, one off another and the other 5 are off another. They've been in there a couple of weeks now and havn't done much at all. The small ones have grown a little bit, but you can barely notice, and only the bottom braches have grown on the big ones. Planning to flower the big ones in a couple of weeks when my flat mate cuts his current beuties down and get a cycle going. The temp in my room is around 33 celcius or 88 F (could this be the reason?), the light is close as fuck (but not too close) and they're gettng watered. Any ideas why they're not growing? Only thing i can think of is that the bulbs are too old (how can you tell)? Any help with this would be great.

Clones need soft light at first, while the roots develop, and 33c is a bit too hot.
Growth stops when temps are too high (around 32c I think), so try and get your temp down to ~25c

damn dude over 90 degrees is no good especially for young clones. That is probably enough to stunt them almost completely. :peace:
