250w/hps vs 250w/cfl. power consumption?

so would a 250watt HPS use the same amount of electricity as 2x 125watt cfl's?

I'm using cfl's atm but it's a major pain in the ass so I wanna get a hps, just wondering if my power bill's gonna go through the roof?

HPS does use more but you won't notice it over a month. I run 1-400w MH, 1 400w HPS, an air pump, 2 fans, and 6-40w flos. I barely notice the power difference, Maybe $30 over the entire month.
