also iv been reading about some bathroom extraction fan range called 'silent fan' meant to have some kind of elastic vibration absorber around the actual fan so no vibrations go into the wall round the unit. im thinkin of gettin one. i looed at some reviews and someone said it its really quiet compared to others but it aint completely silent. like matey said up there ^ all fans will make some noise coz of turbulence, but if u got some acoustic ducting, u could sort that out. worth the extra £40 for the ducting, a guy showed me how it works at a grow shop on the end of a carbon filter, it went from fffffffffffffffffffff to wwwwwwwwwwwwwww lol

*you have to try and whisper the letters otherwise the wwwwwwwwww sounds like a broken fridge

haha i would like the wwwwwww noise im just waiting for my new tent to arrive and then i will sort things out and most likely purchase an in-line extractor fan..

anyways.. Day 16 is here!!!!

nice, gettin very bushy already! she looks very healthy but im sure she will perk up even more once u get ur venting sorted. the stack of dvd's looks like my grow space haha theyve gone now tho, the 'master with cracked fingers' is safely back in my dvd collection. now its more like a carved water bottle with a roll of chicken wire with half a fan stuck on top, resting on underwear to limit vibration.....kinda low budget but im workin on upgrading too !!

So do you think they should b perkin up abit more in general? I dont think heat has really been an issue cuz ive been leavin the door open so its not really been above 27c

I've been misting the newbies daily. I just mist the soil under the plants and not the leaves. So far, it works great.

hi guys, would jus like to ask if any1 knows why my leaves are wilting/drooping so much?? i water them 3L every 4 days or so, so i dont think its over/underwatering??

Hi guys, Day 25 is here!
So i have started to notice their going yellow already! and the drooping problem, the leaves at the top seem to be pointing up abit more as the soil seems to be dry so i think i might leave the soil dry for another day or so... anyway here is some pics!

my autos always seem to turn yellow during flower, its just lack of N i'm lead to beleve, some turn earlyr then others but its just lacking in something, and i put it down to the fact i try not to use much if any nutes at all....

mine always yeild quite well .... so i'd try not to worry too much

thanks for the info man! i have only fed mine once with bio bloom and ive heard you have to feed it at full strength cause its organic so i gave 6ml in 3L of water, next time im planning on adding big bud to that! what do you rekon??

i would'nt know what to suggest as i've not used either of those two nutes/enhancers...... i would watch how they react to the first feed (takes about 3 days to see if they burn) ...and go from there ... each strain is different so if you have a friend that uses your nutes .... or is growing the same clones as you then they'd be a great place to seek that advise, if not then your like me ... make notes of what you do and change things WHEN you make mistake

Hey seal the girls are coming along nicely. With regards to nutes i was using biobizz grow and bloom, as well as Bloombastic. I was feeding my autos full strength bio grow and bloom and 1/2 strength bloombastic at around the 30 day mark. With organic nutrients its very very hard to nute burn them, i would recommend upping their nutes quite a lot, you really shouldn't be getting yellowing of the leaves at this stage.

What nutrients are you feeding them and what amounts?

your girls started pretty well my man but they are lacking in N big time,

the auto plants do still have a seedling/vegative kind of stage and do require a Nitrogen feed, from 1-2 weeks into their life depending what soil yr using, all the way through to when the plants stop growing in size and start to flower ( weeks 4-6 )

Also 3 L of water per watering looks to be too much with the pot size you are using , just look for 10 - 15 % runoff out the bottom.

i havent ever used any veg nutes as i was told not too so i only have bio bloom and big bud which is an additive. also i was told the right amount of water for a plant to be fed is rought half the pot size so my pots are 7.5L so i should be watering about 3.725 but i only feed 3L but do you still think that is too much? they seem to be nice and perky but are yellowing at the bottom couple leaves are dead!! i will post some more pics maybe tonight or 2mo, thanks alot for the input +rep to you!!

Hello guys!

Day 29 arrives ins tyle

i fed the girls late on day 25 with 6ml biobloom and 3ml big bud (3L water)
all of a sudden afghan1 has shot up and over taken afghan2 but it looks like stretch cause the afghan2 is more compact and buds looking cool already!
i measured them today for the first time and afghan1 is 17" afghan2 14.5" and RRF 12.5".....
my last CFL grow, the afghans were 24" and blue himalaya about 35" and were packed with bud so im really hoping these girls explode soon!!
