cfl's will absolutely grow a plant through flowering. Unfortunately there has been COUNTLESS tests, and journals written to confirm that they will NOT grow buds "as nice and juicy" as HID lighting.

fdd,,how meny plants did you have in that grow? so you go 16 os of them?,,,3 X 3, 600 watt HPS, BALLAST OUTSIDE the room. pulled 1 lb off it.
then the mites showed up.
don't bring things in from outside.

an ur still not answering the question because im growin in an area at about 10 ft tall, 4 ft wide an 2 ft deep which is my closet, i just bought a 250 watt for 70$ i have 6 plants one is 3 ft tall by 2 1/2 wide...im gonna just flower that one right now, u think 250 will yeild me some nice bud? im lookin for at least 2-4 oz a plant...

I thin k if you max out your lumens you can get bud that you CAN compare to HID lighting... 1-2 ounce a plant is possible from little plants under cfl's
Everything is possible, you just gotta look over the bounderies. i also have see nshitty bud compared to HID from cfls...unfourtunatley they wer'nt good growers..
