250 watt CWA ballast wiring help!!!!!!!

Dude, i just about bought one of them but was a hps 250w plain ballast. I gave it back to the store and kept looking. looked to complicated for an amateur like myself/ good luck!!!!!

Did it come with all the connectors/wires?
If so this is the diagram.

U will only use 1 of the Voltage wires and tape off the rest.

If U have any questions just post it up and I'll try to help.

P.S. Can U post a pic of the supplied hardware.

here are some pics of the ballast and the rest of the stuff including a cut extention cord.

Err I posted the wrong schematic; that is the one to a 250W HPS.

Here is the sheet on yours:
http://www.venturelighting.com/VLPS/BallastDataSheets/STDMH/V90D6212.pdf

K so heres the steps:
1. Leave the BLACK/WHITE wire to the CAP
2. connect all the WHITE wires together, Ballast Socket and Cord.
3. connect RED wire from the CAP to the BLACK wire on the Socket.
4. connect ORANGE wire on the Ballast (for 120VAC) to the BLACK wire on the CORD

That'll do it. Good Luck :)

so i tried it the way you said to but i must be retarded and cant get it to work. here are some pics to show you how far ive got.
If you or anyone can get this light to work it would make my life so much better!!!
Thanks

and the others. the second one on the right is the latest pic it was done today and the ballast starting running but still no light??????
any thoughts?

could you possibly write it out step by step bc i tried that diagram and the ballast started runing but no light. so i basically have a cut extention cord with a green, white and black wires coming out of it. then i have a light socket with a black and white wire coming out of it and finally a ballast that is conneected to a capasitor by a black wire. opposite the black wire is a red one, both came attached to the cap. the ballast has a bunch of wires coming out one end (which i believe that i should use the 120V or orange wire). what should i do?
I would greatly appreciate any feedback
thanks

From the extention cord black to orange of Transformer.
White from extention cord to white of trans former and light socket together.
The single black wire from the transformer (other side) to the cap. red wire to the black of the light socket.
If that does not work you need to have the bulb checked as to all the wiring may have ruined the bulb.
Let me know
