250 watt cfl, 3 plants, expected yield

Assuming all goes well (4 weeks in flower so far), how much do you experienced guys pull?
Growing in MG potting soil, watering with MG Bloom Booster every third watering. Growing in a bath vanity. I can put up some bud pics if you want.
I'm REALY hoping for a qp. I know thats asking a lot for a first grow. I'm hoping for enough to make some arthritis creme for myself and have some to smoke until my next harvest 4 weeks later.
I know there are too many variables for someone to predict harvest weight. Just curious how well some of you cfl guys do.

Well I just harvested my CFL grow, I got almost 200 grams wet from one plant (175 from what I just chopped and still have 3 branches to go), using a little over 300 watts of CFLs. More plants will give a bigger yield, but expecting a qp from 250 watts of cfl might be a little high. Could be done tho, it really depends on the strain and training etc. If you wanna check out my grow it's all in this thread https://www.rollitup.org/newbie-central/766090-first-time-grow-advice-feedback.html I put all the data of what CFL's I use and everything in there. Hope that helps!

Yea man can you throw up some pics? Sounds like you know enough to keep it alive thus far. lol. Im in my first grow now. I have no expectations. Im looking at enough for about 2-3 oz right now (i could be WAAAY exagerating). About the same time through flower. With 200 watts of cfl.

Heck yeah, it helps. Thanks man. I'm expecting around 2.5 to 3 ounces, but ill be happy that they even made it through my first grow. lol
I'm going to check out your thread.

I would be happy with anything more than 100g dry I think you will come close to your goal. Good luck they are lookin nice and healthy!

100 grams seems like quite a bit for 3 plants under a 250w cfl for your first attempt. Not saying you cant do that, I've never grown under CFL but that seems high to me for a first timer.I wouldn't set any expectations for amount. I ended up with way less than I expected on my first go round as Im sure most people did.

Just be happy your plants are still alive and dont focus on the amount you think you're gonna get. Second grow will probably be significantly better.

Well, I would just at another 100w- 200w to your grow. Normally you want 100w of HID lighting per plant, I have a buddy running 2 plants under about 270w and his plants are looking good. Overall I would think a qp is pretty obtainable, only an zip and a third per plant. What nutes and soil are you using? I am trying to get my own grow going here if you could help me out.

Fr my very first grow I used a 250 watt Felix 6400k bulb and didn't switch it to any sort or 2700k type for flower. They were a sage/sour diesel cross. Veged for about 2.5 months and trained the shit out of them (only lst tho no super cropping topping or fimming) however I added a cheap 150 watt hps my buddy through me he ha bought for 55 dollars on amazon (hydrofram brand) and interestingly the flowers on the cfl side lacked (slightly) trichs and gerth. This is all I could tell was different, but I pulled 5 oz 13gs. I'm still a newb too on my second grow So an oz Number wouldn't be my forte!!

MG potting soil and MG nutes is what im using. I added more lights at one point but it got WAY too hot. I'm not stressing over yield, just tryingto make it to the finish line with my plants still alive! I plan on adding some bottom lighting after this grow, or maybe trying a different kind of lighting. I think that would be the best way to learn the difference. I like CFL, the only downside is having to move lights or buds EVERY day.

@DroBlo, I am planning on running hempys for my next rotation, after the clones I have vegging go into the flower box. Soil is pretty simple if you don't over-care for your babies. I think hempy will be just as easy, just a little leary of using nutes from the start.

Hey man from the pic you posted Id say youre doing great, they look healthy and theyre spread out so youre getting the light in.I just harvested my first two ladies, one an auto, and got 230 odd grams wet, that was under an hps though but I made the mistake of removing alot of fan leaves thinking I was being clever and letting light in;I wont be doing that again! But yeah, shoot for a zip per plant then anything else is a bonus.Best of luck, peace!

That's sounds good to me. Yeah, they're spread out good. The fight right now is with this sativa. It's still stretching! It has 4 buds that are greedy with space and they are probably going to hit the top of the cab. lol

250W cfl, three plants with MG soil and nutes=about a pound
you meant a pound per plant, right? one is a pretty pure sativa, so i bet it will pull two!
Seriously, though, I was just looking for results from similar setups. I've read everything from .25 grams per watt to .75 grams per watt. More for hps, and more for hempy.
If they live, I will be happy.
If they produce .25 g per watt dry, I will be happier.
If they produce .50 g per watt and I will be probably bust a nut because that would be enough meds to last me a couple of months AND have enough to experiment with a tincture for my arthritis!
lol, don't hate on the MG homie. All my plants are still alive and that's saying a lot for a newb.....they could always be bigger, denser, etc. but that goes for all of us. MG has been a great learning experience for a new grower. I now understand that it doesn't have everything marijuana needs to make it optimal, but its cheap and easy to learn with.
And I am going hempy next run!

Anywhere from 1/2 oz to 80 pounds. No one, realistically can guess the yield of your plant.
