24hr for low humidity?

Hi
Looking for some rookie advice! I'm worried about high humidity in lights off for autos that are close to harvest. Gets up to 90%, lights on during the day at least more like 45 or 50. Attic grow so not a lot of control. Thinking of switching from 18hrs to 24 to help keep it low. Any thoughts on if this is a good idea?

That might stress them to hermie. But 90% is crazy high and very risky for mold. I would run a dehumidifier or do the switch to 24 hours. Or maybe 20-22?

Hmm yes thanks. Might try ramp it up an hr a day and see how the levels are. Not crazy about the dehumidifier will try this first anyway cheers. I guess stress is better than mould!

How far out from harvest are you? If you are only a couple weeks away, stress the fuck out of them, doesnt matter if they hermie at that point because they wont have time to make seeds.

Ok good to know. One plant a week or two others maybe 3 or 4. Not so worried about he second lot the next one up is the best by a long shot so could be a runner. How long is not long enough to make seeds you reckon?

Go 24 hours its safer than 90%, humidity is insane if you cannot get it down go 24 its less risk if you ask me. Autos can easy take 24 light.

Well first pollen sacks have to form and theres no telling how long that could take. Once pollinated they start growing immediately. Buds full of little white seeds are the worst.

Ok thanks. I've added 1hr. Will see how that goes for a few days and then add another if all is well. Thanks for the advice people!

OK thanks, still worth smoking I hope? Temps good now, mid twenties most days. Had maybe 8 or nine days through flowering where it was up to about 35 though, that must have done the damage im guessing. Attic growing not the best, temp control difficult. No other option though guess just need to pick cooler months of the year next time.
