240w Blackstar or 150w hps?

  • Hey Guys, Im still new to this forum and I couldn't find a better place to ask this question.. I was wondering which would be better to flower with, the 240w Blackstar(flowering Model) or a 150w hps? Im interested in bigger yield more than anything. I would only be growing 1-2 autoflowers at a time, just a personal supply and I was wondering if each of these lights would be ok to flower both plants? Im looking to get atleast an ounce off of each plant, Is that to much to expect? Obviously, If it's rare to see these results with either light, would I be able to get an ounce if i just flowered one plant under it instead of 2? Let me know what you guys think.. Also, I live in a desert so the temps really seem to be a problem, And I know that Led's are great about not too much heat, so thats why im leaning a little more towards the blackstar

I don't know about the blackstar. The hps will flower two small plants but it will produce some heat. I would say you will need to keep the ambient temps in the area surrounding the grow to the low to mid 70s. Maybe you can have lights on at night? Try to pick a heat resistant strain. Nirvana has a Northern Lights autoflower but I'm not sure how dwarfy it is.
