2400 watts & 12 slabs of Canna Coco with Lot of pics

Well i thought i'd finally start my own Grow Journal, This is the 1st Journal i've ever done. I've been growing around 10 years, i'm in my 30s and live out on my own with my partner. I moved out of home when i was 18 and from then on i started growing.

1st ill start with my Flower room as it is right now, its a "grow tent" style room made from 1" square tube ally. It is ver strong and can be pulled apart and put together in no time at all. it can hold 80gk over 1m.

Currently i'm running 2 x 600 watt hps in the flower room, i'm using the canna coco slabs set up on drip system watering 4 times a day for 5 mins each time at the moment. (its adjusted according to plant size and water uptake.) i have 2 x 200mm fans exhausting and bringing in fresh air one each end of the room exhaust up top and inlet down low. I have a 400mm oscerlating fan for air movement that runs 24/7. The exhaust and inlet fans are controlled by a temp/humidity/co2 control unit. ( currently i'm out of gas, & will get some soon. )

i have added a pic of my room taken a week ago this was about a week into 12/12 they have taken off now and are huge, just waiting for a camera so i can take more pics.

please feel free to add your comments and advice.!! i dont know everything about growing and am always open to learning new methods and ideas

hi thought i'd check in a give a bit of a update.

my baby gums are not babies any more, they are 4 weeks old now to the day and the are looking very healthy already can see few different phenos, some tall and strechy others short, stocky and fat leaves, i also have a few Double Gums (7) and some Mazar-i-sharif (3). They are going ok, bit small and stretchy as they have been under my clone light. I really need to put them under the 400 halide in the Mother room where the Baby Gums are. More room will need to be made/cleared.

My grow room make over has been under way for a few days now, i'm currently creating a room 3m x 2.2m x 2.6m high. I will have 4 x 600 watt HPS for lighting. It has been really awkward to do as i've had my 2m x 1.2m x 2m high tent/room in the middle of the area and have had to work around it. Nearly done.!!!

I am using Canna Coco slabs 3 slabs under each 600 watter. 12 slabs total, run to waste system with 4L/H drippers. Using Canna Coco A and B Nutrients, with canna Zym all through Rhizotonic in Veg stage and PK 13-14 for one tank approx 3 - 4 weeks prior to harvest. I have a ECM Higrotherm control module for controlling my humidity and temperatures. It Turns my fans on and off, controls my CO2 and doses my ladies while making sure fans are off and its not "dark time"
i Will have a carbon filter can style and a centrifugal fan to remove stale old air while i have 2 x 200mm inlet fans drawing fresh air in from outside. I also have a Air conditioner in case of extreme heat and a de humidifier for the humidity later on in the flowering cycle. There will be 2 large floor fans circulating air around the room 1 for each 6 slabs. If i have problems with high humidity i will also be adding a sulfar burner later on which i am going to make. i will take pics and do a guide for how to make one yourself.

I have in cluded a few pics of the process, you should be able to see my grow tent in the middle and see panda film on the walls behind it and the frame to the front wall, i had to make.

The end picture is my bud hungry bird, when i'm not looking he's always sneaking off looking for a way to get into my room and munch. He loves his dope. they are only maffy so dont worry i didn't let him loose on the ladies.

yeah thanks EpyxN, yeah he sure is an addict! he doesn't go much on the sticky parts, he climbs them but tends to chew the leaves more often than not.

oh and clones , he likes to pull them out little shit!!!.

Hey mate looks good... Il be followin this closely as i wanna do a coco run to waste when i get my own place. I grew Double Gum Outdoors last season the 2 different pheno's are so different The stretchy pheno i had to Fim and Then tie down new branches nearly every day as it was getting to tall yielded nearly 10 oz. The other pheno got to about 4 and a half foot and smelt so sweet it was almost sickening. Really good smoke too. catchya

madazz....good shit,i havent started a journal yet either,and i know i dont post much in here but im an avid follower,im on my 1st (flower) and 2nd(veg of some sour deez) grows respectively...i have some hawwaiian flowering right now in her 4th week,smells fruity like a muhfukka in there and in my veg room i got some sour goin,im from brooklyn and i get that shit basically on the daily,but i do have a plan tho to take pollen off of my sour(1 is bound to be a male) and cross with a clone from my hawwaiian skunk....i'll eventually start a journal to so you can check my out....but i love your set up and good luck on them babie....and remember tho.....sharing is caring(with the bird)

yeah thanks drsimmy, ill keep it pretty updated. cant wait til the phenos start showing through and god dam i hope i get a fat sticky male. i want a sick seed stock!! i just love the bubblegum, remember it from when i was 15 back in 94. mmmmm yum.

my room is nearlly complete. ill upload some pics once its finished. wednesday i hope. 1 of my ballasts shat itself went in the room and could hear clicking and only 1 light was on, found it was the ballast. sound seems like its coming from the choke part. wierd. i turned it off and waited a bit and tried it again same thing. tried again same thing this happened a few times then finally it lit up & seemed ok so i turned it back off, let it cool and now it wont turn on again. after about 10 - 20 trys of turning it on and off. it turns on. now i bloody need another. any1 any idea what happened or why it did this, its not that old.

anyway i'm off will post pictures 2morrow.

HI ALL!

Here is a few pictures of the room in the process of being made, i had to take my 2m x 1.4m x 2m tent apart inside the room i just made.

The 1st picture shows what i mean. you can see the tent frame in the middle of the room.
The next 2 pictures are just my ladies from the tent and the room before i took frame apart.
The last picture is "The Muzz Budd" its one of the strains i was donated and this is the finished product. yum yum!

anyway i'm buying all my bits in the moring so my room will be fininshed by this time 2morrow night (24hrs) i hope. i will post lots more pictures then so stay tuned this is where things are going to get FUN!!

Lookin good mate and im pullin up a chair to watch your progress. Im a 2400 watt grower myself at the moment so best of luck with your girls. Its always good to see some other Aussies growin coz afterall we do grow some of the best weed in the world .

U said it M Blaze, I've checked your grow a few times and its grows like yours, Al Bs, simpsonsamsung, stinkbud hav inspried me to go Huge. Why not hey! and ill agree Australia is renown for its premimum weed! stay tunned lots more to come!

Ok here are a few picture i just took,


pictures are of the entrance to my new room, complete with zipper door. and views just through the zipper into the room.

this is half of it i still need more qubelok aluminium frame for the other 6 slabs to sit on. will upload the finished room 2morrow night if all goes well.

I will take photos of the bubble gum plants 2morrow aswell, they sleeping now. Also have 8 Silver haze clones in a clone bubbler since the 8th and i have roots on a few. The Double gum are a bit neglected i've run out of lights and they are under a single flouro bit stretchy but they'll be ok im sure. will post all pics 2morrow!!

hey there nice set up you got going there i am also running 2400 watts,be interested to know what you guys yield from 2400 and specs to you rooms and layout off lights.

cant wait to see some sticky buds come out of that room

2400 watts can yield upwards of 4lbs depending on the veg time and space available. Expected yields will vary between different types of setups and methods. I would say I have got my setup dialed in and on average I would yield a minimum of 1lbs for every 600 watt light but as I said it all depends on your time frame and your methods.
