when you go to flower, it's a great time to mold the plant's schedule around yours. having the light on for 18 (i use 16) is a pain. when you go to 12/12, it's like a lot easier, i think. i'd put it into an extended dark period to kick off flower, which is an incentive for the plant to start blooming. 36 hrs. is a tried and true number, but remember to keep your awake/asleep times in mind.
36 hrs is not a tried and true number. A large number of experiments have been done on here and always find no benefit from it. The same conclusion I have come to. Some really believe in it but most of the time it is not people who have tried both.
