Its up to you. I ran my first set of seedlings at 18/6 and they grew up just fine. I'm trying 24/0 now, and they seem to be doing just fine as well. If you're using an HID, 18/6 will save you 6 hours of energy...something to consider.

But either way, get your light closer to them as they are getting stretched!

In my opinion (sorry if i type shit wrong my eyes are closed as i have8 pink eye....lol) anywho. From my experience 18/6 works amazingly because the plant can use all the energy it has stored during those eighteen during those six to build itself faster. Its kinda like spending eighteen hours a day gathering materials to build, and six to use the materials. it works fantastically.

yea im using a 400w lumatek cool tube i lowerd the light earlyer today ,


thx for the input ill keep the 18/6 cycle

24/0 might give you faster growth but 18/6 will make it root faster (my 2 cents)
