210CFL +400w mh/hps. PICS Clones+Northern Lights and Super Seed sprouts

I just made this lil reflector hood out of some scrap diamond plate. Put 2 42w CFLS and 3 23w CFLS for now.... will be using 5 42w CFLS. I have this in my closet for now with my 8 clones from a bagseed mother and 5 new sprouts of northern lights(still waiting on the other two).. Also currently germing 10 seeds I got from a guy whose been breeding these suckers for 30 years

This weekend I am reconstructing my grow room... making It 3ftx12ftx8ft

Clone/Sprout Room: 3x3x8ft with 210w CFL setup
Veg Room:3x4x8ft with 400w Mh
Flower Room: 3x5x8ft with 400w Hps

Right now it is winter so I dont need any ventilation what so ever except for a small fan in each room for strength building. I will be cool tubing+carbon filtering the veg and flower rooms in the summer though......

I will be using my own blend for potting soil(because it seems to work great and works out to 4 bux for 8 gal) And will be flowering in 5 gal buckets.

The only thing Im unsure of Is what Ferts I am going to use..... Im gonna go to my local headshop and see what they have in store....
I am hoping to harvest min 4oz every 8-10 weeks.

So I have nearly completed the false wall. The dimesions are 2x11x8ft.(still have the 2x3x8 sectioned with the mother inside 400w mh) Total cost of wall $80cdn for 3 4x8 drywall 6 2x4 studs and 1lb of screws

I am going to order a 25ft roll of IR BLOCK mylar for the roof and top 4ft of walls.
The rest of the room will be lined with 2 mil mylar and the floor will be white 6mil poly.


I will be purchasing the following:
a 6ft chain drive light mover for $175cdn.
Canister carbon filter for $110cdn
ducting+intake/exhaust fans..$___

I also purchased some MG rose food 18-24-16

It has been 1 week since the Northern Lights seedlings broke soil.. Switched light to 3 30w soft white cfls and 2 23w cool whites....

Will update once all current construction is completed........

5 out of 6 of the super seeds germed already have 1" taproots.. some of the fastest germers Ive seen. I planted all six anyway and squeezed them in with the others. will update when they break soil... will also update once false wall is completed.......\

what do you all think??? also Is panda film just black/white 6mil poly???

2 of the SS have sprouted already.
Yesterday I completed the false wall and put all my lil ones in the back corner for now until I can Vapour barrier and mylar the interior... temps are steady between 20-26*C. humitdity is around 50% The clones look like most of them are rooting nicely... here are some pics:What do you think....???

well I think the Soil I used for the northern lights sprouts was not just organic soil.. I read the bag and it has an NPK rating on it........ FUCK!!! they are all very yellowish and one is definately gonna die... the other 5 still arent dried up, just yellow ...... the 6 SS sprouts are in my normal soil with no ferts added are catching up fast and looking very healthy and green....Funny the seeds I paid money for are fucked and the freebies are goin great......

On a Lighter note all 8 of my first ever batch of clones have rooted in there cups very nicely it has been almost a month since cutting thow. they are also in the same soil as the northern lights and are doing just fine...........I will be transplanting them into 1 gal pots in one week. will post pics when the clones are transplanted...............

A Slower than expected start for my first perpetual grow.... But things still look up!!!

So I bought a 50' roll of IR block mylar stuff and put it up to create a 2.5x2.5x8ft flower room and 2.5x3.5x8ft veg room. this stuff is highly reflective and has made me feel that i dont need to put another layer of 2mil mylar.

I ran into one problem and that is heat!!!!!!!!!! I had previous probs with low temp but now even with -10 to -20*C the temp in the flower room reached 50*C today while I was at work!!!!(nearly killing my mother plant that just went into flowering a couple of days ago!! FUCK!!! after the installation of the IR block I let it run for a couple of hours and temps were at around 24*C and 50% humidity so I guess it threw me off.

I will be investing in some good exhaust fans on thermostats for both rooms to ensure proper climate.. will also be purchasing a carbon filter within the next month....

Regardless the new Super Seed sprouts are looking beauty beside the Shit ass northern lights. The northern lights are 1 week older than the SS and are soo much smaller due to the fact they were started in ferted soil!!!!

I will be germing some more of the SS and will probably kill off the nearly dead northern lights except for the 2 more healthy ones.

I will post some pics tommorow or the day after of the mother.. I have a feeling that she'll come back nicely now that i opened up the partition between veg and flower chambers.. I guess ill leave it like that until i get an exhaust fan atleast for the flower chamber!!!!!!
